Its really meant to be a bit silly, BUT as some of you know some idiots took it to be serious, and if you read it, well, theres some law enforcement and health professionals that probably need to find a new profession. We are all from a young age forced to consume religious materials, either in passing in a cultural context or in a church-based setting. I use my projects to explore the existence of faith outside of these types of man-made constructs and stories. See more

23.01.2022 Now this isnt the first time my works have been controversial among my family, friends, police and health professionals. Hopefully it will be the last though. I made this section of salvation well over a year ago in advance and "in the Spirit" for my long suffering and always beautiful wife. I chose an impossible blue rose (roses literally cant be blue, its a pigment thing) and your impossibly strong will and patience is always appreciated. 21.01.2022 With the Black Lives Matter protests still in full swing, and thankfully the atrocious actions of NSW Police now being highlighted, I thought I would share one of my digital art installations that was, in part, a response to being called "Man Monis" (a convicted criminal, Lindt Cafe siege gunman) in my own home by a NSW Police officer. In front of my wife and 2 year old daughter. Im just lucky I wasnt Aboriginal I guess. What an amazing country. I had just been locked away for 10 days (as I have discussed on here) and been away from my beautiful daughter for the first time EVER. Weve never been apart. Still, I tried to make my thanks as beautiful as possible for those that imprisoned me. Anyway, I survived and move on. 15.01.2022 After my intellectual property was stolen in 2019 I have tried to move on. I think perhaps quitting art may help me move on. Thank you MONA and Dark MOFO in Tasmania for use by my art as your festival logo without consent. I never thought you did it intentionally but you could have at least owned your mistakes. I dont know what Im doing as an artist or writer at the moment. I feel raped by MONA and Dark MOFO. Artistically raped. I doubt i will ever get over it. I am sorry to genuine supporters, this theft ended with me being hospitalized. I hope you enjoy my art installation. Its not all pretty, because life is not always pretty. 08.01.2022 As some of you know I faced some unique challenges with this latest art series. But this has only seen me more determined to highlight and expose the reality of... what Australia really is. The marketing image of beaches and laid back simple people is (and always has been) a fallacy. Because I love this land it really took me time, and personal experiences of incarceration without charge on two separate occasions to realise I am not Australian. I am not welcome here. I am not equating my own experiences to those of indigenous Australians but I do know what it is like to have a different set of "human rights" in Australia. This is a country obsessed with wealth and image and it is only by confronting the reality that all of that wealth and sun-drenched idealistic mirage is built on genocide. A genocide that continues to this day. Every home and business sits on stolen Aboriginal land. Think about that. Every grain of iron ore that lines the pockets of mining oligarchs here in Australia and overseas is stolen. I can see now that Australia (primarily Anglo Australia) may never properly confront its past. Especially when all Aboriginal people have asked for is the TRUTH of what was done and continues to be done to Aboriginal Australians. However, My work with the Kingdom of Heaven has shown me that evil doesn't triumph, love conquers all. So I hope that if you struggle in this nation built for the few, that you know you aren't the problem here. You're the solution. May the Heavenly Father bless you and keep you safe.
