14.01.2022 A message from our CEO, Charles: To our Valued Clients, A lot has changed in the past week with respect to messaging from government on the Covid-19 crisis.... Avia Aviation has made the difficult, but we believe correct decision, to cease all flight operations effective immediately. There is a clear underlying message from both federal and state governments - stay at home. It is self-evident that nearly all private/recreational flight training and rentals fall outside the essential category and that social distancing is impossible. Many clients have already decided to pause their flight training and we applaud them for doing the right thing and doing it early. Likewise Avia is not waiting to be shut down by the government, or worse still by finding out that we have been adding to the Covid-19 crisis. The safety of our clients, our staff, and the community remains our top priority. Were going to use this time to continue to develop our business as the premium choice for flight training and Cirrus rentals in Melbourne. Where possible Avia staff will remain engaged under the Job Keeper initiative and will continue to communicate with you. Well be developing new ways of ensuring your flying goals are kept on track as much as possible during this disruption and until such time we can resume normal operations. The only way out of this crisis and getting back to normality is by staying home as a community. We thank you for your continued support of our small business throughout these difficult times.
