25.01.2022 What a blur the last few months have been and we are wishing all our industry colleagues, A-Team members and friends in Melbourne and surrounds our thoughts over the coming weeks. Our track has undergone some renovations since our March meeting under the watchful eye of our Track Manager Keith (R) and Regional Track Manager Beau (L) and we can't wait for the time when we can welcome our crowds back on our course. #staysafe #supportregionalvic #countryracing

25.01.2022 AVOCA AUTUMN RACES & COVID-19 UPDATE: It is with regret and disappointment that the Autumn Races scheduled for next Saturday 21st March will no longer be open to the public due to the evolving situation we all face with COVID-19 and the need to protect our community. The race day is scheduled to run with participants only and will be telecast as a TAB meeting so you can still enjoy at home.... The health and safety of our patrons, suppliers and industry is of the utmost importance to us and we understand the flow-on effects this decision has on our local community and tourism industry and providers. We will be in touch via email with all ticket and package holders over the coming days. Please continue to support the club via broadcast and a flutter at home where you can. We appreciate the support.

02.01.2022 How quick yet how slow the time goes right now . 1 week ago since the strangest cup day .... 2020 Cup day marked 2 special occasions. Our race caller Ben Sporle celebrated 10 years of calling the Avoca Cup - Ben started as a young high school student learning the ropes by caller Jack Styring. Ben has been so supportive of the club over many years and he is certainly part of our A-TEAM family. We couldn’t help but show a little celebration on the day.... Blue Pyrenees Estate celebrated 5 years of our Cup day naming rights sponsor. Andrew and the entire team have been fantastic support and advocates for the club over many years. All winning connections took home some of their finest wines to celebrate the wins.

02.01.2022 Oh, how we wish 2020 was a false start ...... What a crazy ride the last 5 months have been? We are thankful that our industry has been able to continue with strict protocols and restrictions in place. The club has received confirmation that the 2020 Avoca Cup will be held at this stage as an Industry participant day only on Saturday 17th October. As many clubs and feature race days will not be able to be hosted this year, we are truly thankful we are able to race and showc...ase Avoca and our regional sponsors and supporters through your screens. Our feature race days are the bloodline of the club and community tourism and by not being able to host you all on course, it does in turn, affect the club's earning and economic injection you all provide to our community and region just by attending and supporting each year. We cannot wait to welcome you all back when safe to do so and let's hope the finish line is soon in sight! ( - ' )
