22.01.2022 Hey Dubbo! I’m Nina and I’m super excited to be the newest chiropractor at Awakening Health starting Monday. I’ve come over from across from New Zealand for the first time to join my partner Mark at Awakening Health and loving Australia so far but struggling with the heat. ... I’m from a small beach town north of Auckland and grew up spending endless hours at the beach. This summer you would have found me doing the same thing playing with my little two year old nephew. Throughout high school if I wasn’t studying then I was out playing football and hockey. Growing up my family was on the alternative side, focusing on the body’s ability to heal and adapt and when I finished high school that’s when I found chiropractic and how this fitted in to my own personal beliefs. I’m bias when I say that chiropractic is amazing but for me it was love at first sight when I went to study it and here I am getting to ensure people are functioning at their best everyday, can’t get much more special! 04.01.2022 Hey Guys, I’m thrilled to be one of Chiro’s here at Awakening chiro. A little bit about myself I was born in the Netherlands but grew up in a small town in the north island of New Zealand called KatiKati I have grown up loving sports and regularly play soccer and love running. I am a massive Liverpool football club supporter and often get up at the crack of dawn to catch a game. My first experience with chiropractic was when I was playing soccer at school and hurt my lower ba...ck. I went to the local chiro and he had me charging on all cylinders within a couple of weeks! After becoming a regular at the chiro I learned that getting adjusted and keeping your spine healthy is a necessity for life and this is when I had the first idea of becoming a chiropractor. To help people be the best versions of themselves! I have been loving living in Dubbo so far and am greatly looking forward to serving the community.
