That you were a liar, a thief, ugly, and alone." "Oh darling, what a hard thing for you to hear, but, I am a beast. I use my voice in the darkness, I shed light on truth that gets lost in the shadows, and I fight evil with the presence of my energy. "You do that being black" "Our skin does that" "Our skin does more than that, it shines, sheds, loves, shifts, and so much more" "Doesn't that scare you?" "Everyday" "How do you survive Mama, it all seems so hard." "Oh baby, it isn't, I have you and your brother. And for that, no matter what is said, the pain caused, the lies told, I have both of you. And the blackness you carry in your skin and soul will one day rule the world. If I have to take the bullets for you, i will, all of them." 05.01.2022 Today is the Day I announce Awake Studio will be relocating to Eumundi. The studio will no longer be functioning in Gympie. I am so thankful for every student and parent through the past 4 years that has brought your child to come move with us. I am thankful for every woman who has done the same. I will although be teaching on Thursdays Drama and Tap. Our Drama Program has been such a Beautiful way for kids to express through their bodies and voice and a program I have been s...o proud to teach as well as Tap. Also monthly, VanderAa and I will come down to do Rhythmn and Motion. Pleasr male sure you grab your families amd move with us. I thank Gympie for helping me find my wings and now I am ready to fly, and I feel light as a feather. This isn't Goodbye, I always have magic up my sleeve, but it's "See you Soon" for Now. We will have Our Production of "Beauty and the Beast" and Class Experience with VanderAa in December, what a Beautiful way to say Goodbye and Thank you. And I truly am thankful.
