23.01.2022 Thanks Julie for providing our EC with a tour of Glenfield Road Animal Shelter. It was great to see the facilities. The shelter is open to the public from Monday - Saturday, 1pm - 4:15pm.

12.01.2022 Animal Welfare League NSW INSPECTOR UPDATE Animal Welfare League NSW Inspectors attended an address in Western Sydney regarding concerns of two underweight dogs... on a property. On arrival, the inspectors found that the dogs were underweight, had dirty water bowls and were living in poor conditions. The inspectors also found a domestic cat without access to water. The owner was not home so the inspectors provided the cat with water and returned when the owner was home. Written instructions were given to the owner requesting clean, fresh water to be provided to all animals on the property, a feeding plan to be implemented for the underweight dogs and educated them on the poor state of the backyard. When a recheck took place, the condition of both dogs had improved and the owner had complied with instructions, however expressed concerns regarding her ability to care for the dogs into the future due to a change in living circumstances. The owner decided to surrender the dogs into AWL NSW's care.
