03.01.2022 Albury Tigers Water Polo Club has been personally impacted by cancer, many times in many ways. Age, race, gender and sexuality are irrelevant cancer does not discriminate. We have many members and supporters who have been diagnosed with cancer and received treatment at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, some are here today and sadly some aren’t, but they will forever remain in our hearts. ... To give back to our local cancer centre we have decided to support a fundraiser known as Terry's Big Bearded Ball Drop to raise money for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund Inc We encourage all our members to get on board by either signing up to be a Bearded Ambassador or donating to the cause. Being able to grow a beard is not a prerequisite! You can also donate to a Bearded Ambassador and we do have some Tigers players among the mix For every $20 donated, you will receive a free ticket in a ball drop lottery. On Saturday, November 21 a chopper load of uniquely numbered balls will be dropped from the sky above the Benalla Showgrounds. The ball that lands nearest the pin wins the grand prize; a shopping spree valued at $10,000! Let’s get around this cause To sign up or donate please visit: balldrop.com.au https://www.facebook.com/101864118304101/posts/139148831242296/?vh=e&extid=yupn4qpdj07LrtQ2
