The Axedale Tavern is a busy country pub located only 12 minutes outside of Bendigo. With a wonderful atmosphere and exceptional beer garden, we are on the lookout for reliable and passionate people to join our team.... Applicants will ideally have: -The ability to work well in a team -Attention to detail and excellent communication skills -Food Safety & Supervisor Certificate -1 years minimum qualified Chef /Cook experience -Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required. 13.01.2022 What a year! 2020 presented us with many, many challenges... but we made it! THANK YOU to every single person who this year has walked through our doors, or shared our posts, to help to keep us open. Your support has been appreciated more than you’ll ever know. 07.01.2022 We would love your help, to help women in need. Do you have any handbags in good condition that you would like to gift to this amazing charity? We will accept donations at the Tavern from now until Thursday 26th Nov. You can fill a bag or backpack yourself or donate items to help fill a bag. Thank you so much on behalf on those receiving this special gift for Christmas. A list of ideas for items can be found at Share the Dignity, but all bags should include shampoo & conditioner, toothbrush & toorhpaste, soap or body wash, roll on deodorant & sealed packets of pads and/or tampons. Other items such as a diary, pens, book, perfume, jewellery etc can be included. Any items donated will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!! #itsinthebag

06.01.2022 Thanks to everyone for the donations of products towards Share the Dignity’s #itsinthebag campaign. We have a quite a collection! Products can be dropped to the Tavern by tomorrow night (Fri) and will be made into parcels and dropped off on the weekend. So if you have unused hand creams, shampoos, lotions, soaps etc in your cupboard, that you will never use, this is a great cause. Or pop something extra in with your shopping Thanks
