24.01.2022 Congratulations to our Ayr Pony Club members who travelled to Moondarga Pony club to compete in the Sporting Gymkhana today. All of our riders came home with a neck full of ribbons with our riders taking out the overall age champion and or reserve champion for every age group with Ayr riders. A special congrats to Ella, Alec, Annabelle, Mia, Imogen, and Anastasia who won Age Champ/ Reserve Age Champ in their age groups, and an extra special mention to Annabelle and Mia who also tied for highest Overall Points and both won a show rug for their efforts. All the riders had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thanks to Moondarga Pony club for a well run event, and for having us!

For all the wonderful riders, helpers, organisers, and spectators from this weekends Show Jumping and Gymkhana, The Ayr Pony club would once again like to thank every person who was involved in some way big and small. For our first event back since Covid, we couldn’t have done it without all the hard work of our amazing club members and zone peers, and we can all agree it was fantastic to be able to come together again and enjoy our beautiful kids and ponies. Big thank you to the Martin-Dunlop Family for sponsoring the Best Presented Horse & Rider! Winner will be selected from all combinations competing on Saturday so scrub your horse and polish those boots

21.01.2022 Rally will start at 11am. Can everyone be ready for a gear check at 10.45. Gillian, Richelle and Dee will be taking the rally. Lunch/quick meeting at 12.30. Kids can remain saddled, then we will do some jumping after lunch. Hope to see you all there

08.01.2022 House keeping Please read *** Edited to add - please bring your own yards if you have them, nominated numbers far exceed the number of yards we have available! *** Attire for Saturday- Pony Club uniform OR neat, tidy, long sleeves and light coloured jodhpurs. ... The front gate will be manned! - Please have your Horse and Human Health Declaration ready prior to arriving at the gate - Only competitors vehicles will be permitted in the camping area (left gate) - All other visitors to the grounds please park outside and use the right gate. - ALL visitors must sign in and out of the grounds. This includes children. - Please remember social distancing guidelines and hand washing throughout the weekend. Canteen - Only one person will be served at a time - Please attempt to bring small/correct change to limit handling - Eftpos will be available! - BBQ dinner on Saturday night with games! The Ayr Pony & Hack Club committee would like to thank everybody for their cooperation over the weekend as we wade through the Covid guidelines. Looking forward to a fun filled weekend!

Senior riders, please message to advise us of your jump height. We have a limited number of stables available. If you have yards we ask that you use them over the weekend. We will not be taking bookings for stables.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to our Ayr PC riders Mia and Mali for their efforts at the NQEG T-shirt comp for showjumping at Bluewater. Mia jumped 2 speedy rounds getting a 1st and 2nd placing on Sally, and Mali did a fantastic job with Cookie placing a 3rd and 5th. Well done girls!

06.01.2022 INFORMATION FOR SHOW JUMPING. Start time will be pushed back until 9.30am. We had a shower this morning so an extra hour of sunshine will be beneficial. Both rings are at the club house end of the grounds. Ring 1 is closest to the gate, ring 2 is highway side. Ring 1- Grand Prix, commencing with 80cm(13-26yrs) going up in height. Ring 2 - Power and Speed, commencing beginner U12 40cm.... Draw will be posted at the club house by 8am. Gear checks will be done prior to entering practice arena. 04.01.2022 Due to COVID and social distancing, NOMINATIONS for Interschools and Open day will be completed at the entry gate. Gates will be open at 7.00. If you are arrivi...ng earlier please message this page To ensure this process is quick we ask where possible correct money for nominations be ready, horse health declarations and waiver forms for non pony club members be completed prior. (For both days if you are riding at both events) Forms will be available at the entry gate so don’t stress if you haven’t completed them or unable to print them. A QR Scan code will be available, along with manual forms if needed for COVID registration. The ACPC Committee thank you for your cooperation and look forward to a great event next weekend.
