25.01.2022 Our male Betta bay is currently a ‘full house’ with some stunners currently in stock including Common Veiltails, Crowntails, Cambodians, Plakats and Half Moons. 19.01.2022 We have some 40 beautiful little Black Angelfish currently in stock @ Aztec Aquarium. Its been a while since we’ve been able to get our hands on some - colouring up beautifully and feeding extremely well! Remember folks - we’re open all weekend!

19.01.2022 New arrivals @ Aztec Aquarium. After quite a few months, we now once again have female Dwarf Gourami in stock as well as a full tank of beautifully coloured assorted males. New in store - Orange and Black imported Orandas. And we have 6 new beautiful Candy Nemo and S/F Koi male Bettas.

19.01.2022 The immediate finish line is almost in sight....we’ve broken on through to the other side in 2 places, aquarium rack built, stained , varnished and bolted to the floor, stock racks getting assembled before our stock goes on display....oh, and the pink door is now yellow!

15.01.2022 Let's face it, our little shop is so small and crammed full of stock that there's no room to swing a cat anymore - not that we're into swinging cats, coz you know, we're animal lovers and all that. So, we've decided to tunnel through into the shop next door and take it over. There will be so much more room we won't know ourselves. This means we'll be closed for two days while we put the sledgehammer to work. Once we've safely reached the other side and tidied up, we hope to welcome you into our new space from Thursday 1 October. You know, we couldn't have done this without you!

15.01.2022 New @ Aztec Aquarium! We are now proud to be stockists of Eheim Thermo Control heaters. Eheim has long been considered one of the ‘gold standard’ brands of the aquarium hobby. These heaters possess German made reliability and durability and are available in 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 watt sizes. Now available in-store!

06.01.2022 We currently have a shrimp load of shrimp available @ Aztec Aquarium! Red Cherry Blue Dream Red Crystal Tangerine Tiger... Yellow Most are high grade colour ( check out the Blue Dreams - they’re awesome ) and great size

05.01.2022 We’ve been busy slowly filling the new tanks in the extended ‘Fish Room’. We’ve got some good sized and well coloured locally bred Guppies and Platys, Angelfish a’plenty, a tank of Harlequin Rasboras and lots more room for those true aquatic plants! Crypts are an exceptional size and quality! We’re open all weekend - nothing fishy about that!

04.01.2022 For those of you still a little unsure about the benefits of a CO2 system for your aquarium, take a look at what greeted us this morning - these beautiful flowers blooming from the Amazon Sword in our counter display tank! Judging by all the buds on this shoot growing well outside the tank and above the water line, there will be quite a few more in the coming days If you’re considering a CO2 system , pop in and have a chat to us about our Dymax CO2 range and all the options we have available for you.

01.01.2022 Latest counter display scape @ Aztec Aquarium! I call this Deep River Trench Petworx 30ltr cube with sheer rock face glued onto both sides of the aquarium made of individual rock pieces. Ultra white sand substrate with Anubias, Indo form Java Fern and Monte Carlo mats glued onto various surfaces. Now let’s fill ‘er up!
