19.01.2022 We’re all set up here at Stansbury Seaside Markets this morning, right beside Widara Heritage Pork. We have beef and lamb available today. If you are over for the wknd, or live locally, why not pop down and say Hi. Dad (the farmer) is always keen for a chat too!!!!

18.01.2022 While Tim from Stansbury Gourmet Meats has been racking, packing and stacking our Lamb in preparation for the Markets on Saturday morning, I also wanted to let everyone know we have some packs of Beef Sausages, Beef Burger Mince and various cuts of Lamb Chops which have been stored in the freezers since our NYE and Jan 11 Markets. If you are interested in any of these packs, we will be selling them at 10% off the marked prices. For anyone who wishes to purchase these packs or have some extra packs put aside, please PM us, or come and say Hi on Saturday morning.

07.01.2022 How good was the rain from the other day!!! 51.5mm in total. These photos were taken on Friday afternoon, after the heaviest rain had gone through. It isn't too often we have volumes of water like this out at the front gate. Next thing, someone will be getting itchy feet and wanting to get tractor wheels in motion in preparation for planting some feed.

03.01.2022 Hey Everyone! Welcome to our newly created Facebook page. Only recently, we have been involved with having a presence at the Stansbury Seaside Markets during the 2019/2020 Market season. We are working in conjunction with Tim, the butcher at Stansbury Gormet Meats and venturing into the world of selling our grass fed Beef and Lamb directly to you either at the Markets or in bulk economy packs. We would love you to like our page so we can keep you posted about times when you can get a knife and fork into some of our tasty pasture raised meat, and also any weird and wonderful updates on the family farm.

03.01.2022 We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at Stansbury Seaside Markets. Make sure you pop past and say g’day We’ve got lots of great meats for your Australia Day BBQs!

03.01.2022 This is Melaleuca lanceolata - commonly known as a Tea Tree. We have a few blocks of scrub land on the farm which predominantly contain this species, many of which were there long before our ancestors settled in the region. During January and February each year, many of the trees on the farm and around lower YP flower prolifically, attracting many nectar eating birds and insects. They grow from 3m-8m tall generally, and tend to like calcareous, limestone, loam and grey and white sandy soils, with a touch of coastal exposure. They make for fantastic wind breaks (essential on the windswept Yorkes) and for roadside vegetation. Their white bottlebrush style flowers provide a striking contrast to their dark green foliage, so this time of the year is pretty spectacular driving up our driveway.
