20.01.2022 So I'm getting in trouble from FB that I haven't posted in a while I'm still working hard with my regulars at this stage, concentrating on the many sore muscles they bring me And as most of you know, I'm studying too so I've been doing a fair bit of that also - other than that I'm taking a quick vaycay in Sydney until the 29th and won't be taking my diary so i'll get back to you when I'm back in the 'office'. Over n out

19.01.2022 Did you enjoy your Sunday?

18.01.2022 I can FINALLY let you all know why I have been a little quiet and reserved on the posting of appointment times, between juggling my business baby and family, I have also been accepted into Uni BUT don't worry, I still have the same commitment to my beautiful regulars as I always have - this just means I will no longer be taking on any new client's after the end of the month But back to the good news, guess who will be celebrating tonight??

17.01.2022 Mondays some days it doesn't matter how much stretching you do, it just doesn't hit the spot! If your appointment is coming up and you need an inbetweener- Befriend a tennis ball guys (I'm not a fan of the hard spikey ball but alas, my kids have stollen the tennis ball...again)

14.01.2022 Happy Mothers day

12.01.2022 WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE between using an ice pack or heat pack on injuries/head aches and tight muscles? SCROLL ON DOWN FOR SOME EXAMPLES Well, the ice pack constricts blood vessels, which numbs pain, relieves inflammation and limits bruising. The heat however, will increase blood flow to the area which relaxes the tight muscles and releives the aching joints..... FOR EXAMPLE: Tendonitis /Tendonosis (difference is the time- short term, long term) the pain becomes quite acute after strenuous activity and is usually found in the elbow, shoulders, knees or wrist- tendons attached to joints. ICE while inflammation is present, it will also help numb the pain. HEAT will help bring back the joint mobility and reduce that stiffness. Headaches the ICE will numb/dull the throbbing pain and restrict the blood flow that causes this (put this on the back of your neck) the HEAT will relieve the tight banded muscles that can be the cause of the headache. ICE, ICE BABY....

12.01.2022 could tag a couple of clients, but I won't

09.01.2022 TOP 5 TIPS FOR BACK PAIN 1. Exercise your back regularly - walking, swimming, bike riding, these are all excellent to strengthen your back muscles - MAKE SURE YOU ENJOY IT SO YOU KEEP DOING IT 2. Always lift and carry objects close to your body, bend your knees and hips - even a quick stretch before you begin helps!... 3. Avoid the slump! Be mindful of the way you are sitting or standing, if your posture is bad your also putting extra strain on your muscles. 4. STRETCH, morning stretch, afternoon stretch or just before bed - give those muscles a nice long stretch for at least 10 seconds per position - it feels soooo good 5. Work your body? Then rest your body! Recharge with a modality that helps you relax, wether it be yoga, massage, accupuncture just do it - we must think of our bodys in the long run

06.01.2022 You don't even realise your doing it, we're all guilty of it- wondering where the headaches are coming from? Why your traps feel tight? Should i start naming all the muscles your putting stress on you know why i'm here right?

02.01.2022 So what do you do now after your treatment? you had a massage for a reason right? Maybe it was because you’ve had some nasty tight spots that needed working or maybe you had an injury and you were looking for a way to help speed your recovery. You could even be one of those people, who is so tuned into what your body needs, that you are having regular maintenance treatments giving your body a regular ‘tune up’. Whatever the reason, you want to make sure the benefits are goi...ng to last as long as possible don’t you? DRINK WATER - and no coffee and tea don't cut it EAT - Fuel your body with some nutritional foods your body is going to love you for FEELINGS- Both during and after a massage you might feel any number of emotions. As the body relaxes, it is normal for the body to also release the emotional baggage we are holding on to. While you might feel elated, refreshed or energised, there may be times when you feel a need to cry. LET IT ALL GO REST - You and your body need the time to relax
