25.01.2022 One of our inspiring patients, Jade Davis is raising money for the charity Speak up Stay ChatTy. Jade (not an athlete) is completing an Ironman Triathlon (3.8km swim, 180km bike and 42.2km run) to raise funds for a local mental health initiative. Obviously, in these times it’s very important for people to look after their mental well-being. Due to COVID, the races she was entered in have been cancelled or postponed. Instead of giving up, she has organised her own event down h...ere in Hobart! Hopefully you can spread the positive message that comes with this challenge, or make a donation to the charity in support!

06.01.2022 Did you know we offer massage only appointments? @backinmotionbrighton We often associate massage with relaxing retreats, scented candles and fluffy bathrobes. However, remedial massage is often overlooked as part of your health plan to prevent and manage injuries. Massage performed by physiotherapists who have undergone years of extensive training in musculoskeletal anatomy, means they can apply their knowledge to manipulate your muscles, tendons and ligaments to;... *increase flexibility and range of motion *ease stiff joints *offer pain relief *lower blood pressure and heart rate *reduce whole body tension *promote better sleep *stimulate blood and oxygen circulation There are also tools to use at home. The trigger point ball, spiky ball and bak ball are great aids to assist self-massage. #remedialmassage #physio #healthplan
