Swing buy and say hello and look at some Limousin Cattle on display. Throughout the weekend a GUESS THE WEIGHT COMPETITION will be in action with a Limousin bull on display kindly brought to the field day from Cloudy Bay Limousin.... Time for some free information. The Local Land Services will be holding educational talks in regards to the substaintial benefits of using limousin and limousin infused progeny to provide better outputs, to a tailered end point.

21.01.2022 More photos of Bathurst Royal 2017, from my camera. Jackos soon to be cow Oakvale Kalrina was name Supreme Limousin Exhibit. Tommy won Junior Judge under 10,... both Harry and Jacko won their parader classes and had to compete for Champion and Reserve, and Haz did an awesome job when he went up against the older paraders for Grand Champion, where he was placed 2nd!! Jacko was awarded Junior Herdsman. Congrats to all the other competitors and breeders, it was great to catch up again. See more

17.01.2022 OUTSTANDING EASTER SHOW NEWS Yesterday, the results for the 2017 Sydney Royal Easter Show Hoof & Hook Competition were given. Traditionally the Team from Red Be...nd Catholic College do very well in this competition and this year is not without exception. In brief, this is what we came home with: 2 Gold Medals 1 Championship Broad Ribbon 1 First in Class Ribbon 5 Bronze Medals and 2nd Place Ribbon for Most Successful School (Group of 3 Steers Carcass Results) Very good Results again in 2017, an absolute credit to Red Bend Cattle Show team, and staff. Big thanks to Cattle Team member Natalie Hayes and Gerard for being on hand to accept the awards (and Mrs Hayes for the photos) Forbes Advocate Parkes Champion Post Sydney Royal Easter Show Below are more detailed results for those interested in seeing whos who in the butchers shop window! 12.01.2022 Well thats a wrap ! 2017 Limousin Dubbo feature show is complete! Congratulations to all competitors with all your success throughout the weekend. Judge Mr Brett Littler sought through the 50 Limousin entries. Limousin was represented to a high degree of quality! In the interbreed; Female, Oakvale Katinka, from Ruby Park placing second overall. ... Bull, Myers Mastercourt from Myers Limousin, placing second overall. The Limousin breeders Group from Myers Limousin taking out the interbreed title. The steer section saw a Purebred Limousin steer exhibited by Red Bend Catholic College, Forbes. A steer bred by Wilworrill Limouisns take the Champion steer title. Throughout the weekend a Limousin promotional site was in action which drew allot of attention. A Limousin steer from St Johns college, Dubbo was on display as part of the Wakeman Limousin guess the weight competition. We genieuly appreciate all the St Johns team did with this site ! Congratulations to Jesse Perry on guessing the weight of the 442.0kg steer. The Central West Limousin Group, thank the Dubbo show society for holding an amazing event and allowing the opportunity for Limousin to showcase as the 2017 Feature Breed.

11.01.2022 A Limousin X steer auctioned off for $19k today for the Prostate Cancer Charity at the infamous, Breakfast Creek Hotel. Central west breeders of Mango, a steer donated by the Kirk family of Rhylstone and St. Johns college of Dubbo, NSW. Well done to all involved in the Charity event.
