For the Central Darli...ng Shire Council, stay-at-home orders will be lifted from tomorrow, with the exceptions of Wilcannia and Menindee. Stay-at-home orders will be extended in Menindee for a further seven days and in Wilcannia until 11 October. Stay-at-home orders continue until 11 October for these local government areas: Bathurst Regional Bourke Central Coast City of Broken Hill City of Cessnock Dubbo Regional Eurobodalla Goulburn Mulwaree Kiama City of Lake Macquarie City of Lithgow City of Maitland City of Newcastle Port Stephens Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional City of Shellharbour City of Shoalhaven Wingecarribee WHAT ARE THE RULES WHEN YOU COME OUT OF LOCKDOWN? The following freedoms will be available to all people in regional LGAs where stay-at-home orders have lifted: Gatherings in the home and public spaces: Up to five visitors will be allowed in a home (not including children 12 and under). Up to 20 people can gather in outdoor settings. Venues including hospitality, retail stores and gyms: Hospitality venues can reopen subject to one person per 4sqm inside and one person per 2sqm outside, with standing while drinking permitted outside. Retail stores can reopen under the one person per 4sqm rule. Personal services such as hairdressers and nail salons can open with one person per 4sqm, capped at five clients per premises. Gyms and indoor recreation facilities can open under the one person per 4sqm rule and can offer classes for up to 20 people. Sporting facilities including swimming pools can reopen. Schools: Schools will re-open with Level 3 COVID Safe measures in place. Stadiums, theatres and major outdoor recreation facilities: Major recreation outdoor facilities including stadiums, racecourses, theme parks and zoos can reopen with one person per 4sqm, capped at 5,000 people. Up to 500 people can attend ticketed and seated outdoor events. Indoor entertainment and information facilities including cinemas, theatres, music halls, museums and galleries can reopen with one person per 4sqm or 75 per cent fixed seated capacity. Weddings, funerals and places of worship: Up to 50 guests can attend weddings, with dancing permitted and eating and drinking only while seated. Up to 50 guests can attend funerals, with eating and drinking while seated. Churches and places of worship to open subject to one person per 4sqm rule, with no singing. Travel: Caravan parks and camping grounds can open. Carpooling will be permitted. Masks: Masks will remain mandatory for all indoor public venues, including public transport, front-of-house hospitality, retail and business premises, on planes and at airports. Only hospitality staff will be required to wear a mask when outdoors. Children aged under 12 will not need to wear a mask indoors.

14.01.2022 TESTING HITS ROCK BOTTOM AS MAN DIES FROM COVID IN AGED CARE FACILITY 12 new cases recorded to 8pm last night 5 in Bathurst LGA 4 in Duboo 1 in Walgett... This brings the total number of cases in the Western NSW LHD to 979. Of the 12 new cases, 6 were infectious in the community, 3 for more than 2 days (2 in Bathurst LGA and 1 in Walgett), 1 is still under investigation and 5 were in isolation. 7 new cases in the Far Western NSW LHD 4 in Broken Hill 3 in Wilcannia - The LHD has recorded another death of a Dubbo man. The man was in his 90s, was vaccinated, had significant underlying health conditions and died in the St Mary’s Villa aged care facility where he acquired the virus. - A case has been detected in Lightning Ridge, it will be in tomorrow's numbers - 434 people in the COVID Care in the Community program 40 additional people have been discharged, bringing the total number of discharged to 450 - TESTING Testing rates have been described as ‘rock bottom’ with just 2200 being recorded in the Western NSW LHD in the last 24 hrs. Residents are being urged to get tested even with the slightest symptoms. - EXPOSURE SITES There's been an update of exposure sites overnight, you can find them here https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//case-locations-and-alerts.a - "Picnic Rule" From today those in lockdown affected areas will be able to meet in groups of five in public areas if they are fully vaccinated. Even if you are NOT vaccinated. If you live in a RED area, you will remain in lockdown. If you live in a WHITE area, you can travel to other WHITE areas. However, avoid unnecessary travel, as one case will push us back in lockdown. The following rules will apply for WHITE areas (for vaccinated and unvaccinated). 02.01.2022 CHANGES TO THE NSW REOPENING ROADMAP NSW will take its first steps towards reopening as the State passes the 70 per cent double vaccination target. With the... first vaccination milestone being reached, the NSW Government is also easing a number of restrictions as part of the Reopening NSW roadmap, which will allow fully vaccinated adults to enjoy more freedoms from next Monday, October 11. The changes to the 70 per cent roadmap from 11 October include: Up to 10 fully vaccinated visitors (not counting children 12 and under) to a home (previously five) Up to 30 fully vaccinated people will be able to attend outdoor gatherings (previously 20) Increasing the cap for weddings and funerals to 100 people (previously 50). Indoor pools will also be re-opened for swimming lessons, squad training, lap swimming, and rehab activities On the Monday after the State clears the 80 per cent double vaccination hurdle further restrictions will be relaxed: Up to 20 visitors (excluding children 12 and under) to a home (previously 10) Up to 50 people will be allowed to gather outdoors (previously 20) Up to 3,000 people will be allowed to attend controlled and ticketed outdoor events (previously 500) Nightclubs will be permitted to reopen for seated drinking only (no dancing), and masks will no longer be required in office buildings All roadmap freedoms at 70 and 80 per cent will continue to be for fully vaccinated people only. All school students will also now return to on site learning with a range of COVID-safe measures in place by October 25, with the second and third stages of the return to school plan now combined. Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 12 students will still return to face-to-face learning on October 18, with all other years now returning one week later on October 25. Workers in regional areas who have received one vaccination dose will be permitted to return to their workplace from October 11 and will be given a grace period until November 1 to receive their second dose. Regional areas are those outside Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Wollongong, Shellharbour and the Central Coast.
