23.01.2022 Slow and steady wins the race x

22.01.2022 Classic Austro-Hungarian Training. Josef Neckermann riding Antoinette at Aachen 1964. Neckermann represents the classical system that was taught in the cavalry ...school in Hannover I'm showing the picture so you can see how far riding today has moved away from classic training that focuses on maintaining the horse's health, natural gaits and balance . The big difference is the basic training which can't be faked. The picture clearly reveals Antoinette's classical basic training Antoinette lengthens her neck upwards - straightening the s-curve - and with her head in front of the vertical; a beautiful, supple horse. I enjoy to see a neck that isn't compressed and tense. Note the concave under neck. Antoinette is "losgelassen"; the second step in the trainingscale. Antoinette clearly lifts her forehand/withers with "the relative elevation"/ lowering of the hindquarters. Neckermann is educated with the same finesse as Antoinette to have that balanced independent seat. Neckermann doesn't need a saddle with knee rolls. Photo from Gerd Heuschmann's excellent book about collection "Collection or Contortion"

22.01.2022 Day 3, damn it's over... but look at us go xx #Magichatmaximus #Allthingsanimalhealth #Dressagefriesians

22.01.2022 Beautiful day for a ride

22.01.2022 WHAT DOES CORONAVIRUS LOOK LIKE? The most common symptoms reported include: * Fever... * Breathing difficulties * Cough * Sore throat * Fatigue or tiredness However, it can be asymptomatic also (no visible symptoms). So stop apologising for every sneeze and blow of your nose. Practice good basic hygiene and common sense. As much as self isolation sucks and most of us can't afford it, if you suspect you have the above symptoms or even if you feel well but consider there is a chance yo have come into contact with someone with these symptoms call the hotline and stay at home until you have been advised otherwise. In the law office we are business as usual, I just disinfect the surfaces and items that everyone has just touched. With my business luckily teaching massage and trimming means I touch your horses and not you! So business as usual. However, if you think you may be unwell, just like with the flu or gastro, be courteous and give me fair warning. Look after each other xx

21.01.2022 Not everything was captured but this horse... I tell you... I got up on my knees on his back, could have stood up if I wasn't wearing heels, laid down with my ...head on his rump, laid down on my front with my legs frog tucked on his rump and I finished by sliding off his rump backwards. Anyone would say he is bomb proof then you see him in action under saddle when he takes fright See more

20.01.2022 Small local business well worth a look!

20.01.2022 Day one... not a happy camper but we got through it! #Magichatmaximus #Allthingsanimalhealth #Dressagefriesians

07.01.2022 For Sale - Kamio Furstern Fonteyne Fonte is a beautiful 7 year old 17.1 WB x Andalusian mare. By Fürstlove Fonte is the ultimate gentle giant who is adored by... everyone who meets her. She is used for equine therapy, working with many adults and children with disabilities. As well as being a smooch she loves her job and is a keen jumper with careful scopey technique. Competing up to 90cm (about to step up to 1m) and training up to 1.10m with scope to go further. With a sire like Furstlove she is a great dressage horse with the basics already established- Walk canter transitions, leg yields, shoulder in, hind quarters in and learning her flying changes. She has also done a small amount of XC training and wasn’t fazed by anything. Jumping ditches, going through the water, drops etc. Fonte is super smart, quick and eager to learn. Would be great for an inter school rider, Junior or someone wanting a fun yet competitive mount in any Olympic discipline. $30,000 neg Message me for more info - only for sale to the very best of homes
