Don't forget to wear your mask! Here's what we know so far about the new permits coming into effect tomorrow (Friday) and cross-border travel: The market is an essential food business. Reason for travel falls under "necessary goods and services". The essence of a farmers' market is that the essential produce is unique and local and not substantially the same or similar to goods that can be purchased close to home. If you are comfortable crossing the border for these reasons, you are also very welcome at the market this Saturday. Albury residents and those NSW residents within the new 50km Border Zone will need a new Border Region Resident Permit to cross back into NSW. These permits will be available on the Service NSW website from midday Friday ... https://www.service.nsw.gov.au//apply-covid-19-nsw-border- If you're feeling a bit nervous about crossing the border, park at South Albury or Noreuil Park and have a chat to your friendly police officer as you cross the bridge on your way to the market. You will need your new Border Region Resident Permit.
