21.01.2022 Thursday 17th May 2018 Today was Miss Alyssa's first day. She had such a wonderful morning making new friends and exploring her new environment. Today's yoga session was Moana inspired and the girls loved it! (don't mind the photos of our bottoms, its all a part of the yoga poses haha)... To extend on our week of animals we decided to get out the roll of butcher's paper and colour in our animal stencils. This was a great conversation started that led to discussing colours, animal names, what sound they make, what they eat, etc. In the afternoon we made and explored a peek-a-boo game that had pictures of animals coats/patterns and then when the children lifted the flap it revealed what animal it was. Sommer loved repeating the animals names and sounds they make.
