25.01.2022 As many of you know, we have made the decision to close our Peregian Beach studio. Upon recent enforced business closures weve had lots of enquires regarding future bookings and re-opening. I would like to take this time to provide some clarity and hopefully answer all of your questions in regards to the beauty restrictions which are now to be lifted as of 16th May 2020 (excluding Cosmetic Tattooing services with current restrictions remaining until 13th June 2020). At thi...s time, I will not be offering immediate bookings, and will be continuing on maternity leave to enjoy precious time with my new family. However I am excited to let you all know what is happening here behind the scenes. Since closing our beautiful Peregian Beach studio, we have a new studio in the works and coming soon! We would love for you to follow our new journey as we start introducing B A C O L L E C T I V E - coming JULY 2020 - With this new venture, I am undergoing a new look, rebranding and improving. For those who have followed my journey, it all started back in 2014 from a tiny room in my home. My passion and drive had me reaching for more, and in a short time, my business became a studio filled with many new clients and an amazing team - my dream came to life. Those close to me know what the last 18 months has entailed for my health. There has been many challenges personally which meant less time for me to be present in the studio, doing what I enjoy. We now have our blessing, a beautiful baby boy, which means again, my vision and dream has adapted. So here we are, embarking on our new chapter, simplifying things and getting back to being more present and finding a healthy balance in life. 20.01.2022 It comes with a heavy heart to say that Wednesday 24th March, will be our final day of trading due to new government restrictions. We will be temporarily closed until safe to reopen. Although this saddens me to accept, I also understand how important this is to ensure we can keep our families and friends safe during this time. 11.01.2022 As most of you are aware of the current situation, I just want to take this time to put you at ease upon visiting your appointments. With the pandemic in motion you will notice a few changes when you attend your next appointment. * Our cozy blankets have been removed from service areas, this ensures we can appropriately disinfect and wipe down every surface efficiently between each client. * Our staff will likely be wearing masks, remember we have to work very close to indi...viduals and do not want to put either at risk. * You may be asked to wash your hands in our basin prior to any service commencing, especially nail services where we are required to touch your hands. * If you or someone around you has been overseas within the last 14 days, as per government protocol we ask you reschedule your appointment until the self isolation period advised is over. Please be aware, if you attend an appointment unwell or bring family member that is unwell, you will be kindly asked to reschedule the appointment and leave the studio immediately. * All magazines have been removed from the waiting area and our drinking water station has been replaced with disposable cups. * The Eftpos machine will be sanitised after each use. Despite us cleaning all surfaces, equipment and areas with hospital grade disinfectant regularly we do advise the less you touch the best! Implementing these new procedures ensures we can keep our studio environment, staff and clients safe during this time. We understand that this may be a hard time financially for some individuals, for this reason we will be waiving our cancellation fee for rescheduled appointments. This does not include no shows. If you are unable to attend or concerned about your health status, please reach out to us as soon as possible to give us the opportunity to fill your appointment time. We are a small business and we do rely on these appointments. We will also be lowering our AfterPay transactions to $50+. 01.01.2022 It comes with a tender, heavy heart to let you all know that I have made the decision to permanently close the doors on our Peregian Beach Studio. Since starting my career over 8 years ago, and expanding the BA studio in 2018, we have grown and flourished into everything I ever dreamed of. However as many of you know, for me personally the last two years of my life have been the hardest and most challenging so far. Whilst juggling a business, poor health, surgeries and ongoin...g hospital admissions, Ive also faced the unthinkable with bushfires and pandemics. This has placed an enormous amount of stress on me resulting in pushing my health as last priority. The last few weeks have been very bitter sweet. Whilst facing government forced business closure, Ive also been adapting to having major surgery and a newborn and every challenge that comes with it! Many of you know that 4 weeks ago, in the midst of this uncertain times, we welcomed our little ray of sunshine into our life. The world has opened up a new door for me, and upon my most recent hospital admission, its become very clear that my health has to be my main priority. I feel I have truly accomplished and succeeded everything I envisioned, and for that I thank all our beautiful clients, for being so supportive and loyal you have become part of our family. To my amazing staff, thank you for your on going support and dedication. I know the future holds a greater beginning for you all whichever path you choose to take and know our friendship will always remain. My heart is so heavy and will be for a while, its mixed with love and adoration as well as sadness for this chapter closing. I truly loved this chapter of my life, but I also happily accept its time to adapt to this new chapter in my life currently unfolding. This isnt the end for BA. Our wholesale part of the business will still be operating BA Collective and for my regulars, stay posted for my new beginning. I am missing you all already and look forward to the future ahead.
