25.01.2022 What a fantastic day at each campus as the students from Prep to Grade 7 returned to onsite learning. The atmosphere was fabulous as students saw their friends and teachers. They showed resilience as they settled back into their classes with ease. We are so proud of you all and can't wait until we can welcome our Year 8s and 9s as well.

18.01.2022 During our 6/7 Visual Arts Cycle, students were asked to research Roy Lichtenstein's Pop Art work, and create their own 3D onomatopoeia pop art word collage. Diva Chhugani has produced an amazing collage for her piece, as well as uploading a youtube video on how to do this. Please follow this Youtube link to see Diva’s wonderful demonstration on creating PopArt: https://www.youtube.com/watch She is making an amazing contribution to our Art class and we are extremely proud of her and everything she produces. You too can see why Diva should be so proud of the work she has produced by following the link above.

14.01.2022 After reading 'Dreamtime', the story of how birds got their colours, our Prep to Grade Ones wanted to help care for the birds. They created their own bird feeders which enhanced the development of their fine motor skills.
14.01.2022 Yesterday our College Captains ran our Remembrance Day service with the support of our school Captains. They did a fantastic job, leading our students to reflect and be thankful for the sacrifices made by our service men and women. Lest we forget.

11.01.2022 The Grade 5/6’s at Derrimut Heath have been working on their informative writing unit this term. The students had to design a plaque for a museum based around either an animal or a country. The challenge was for the students to try to fit their information onto one slide, making sure to identify key information and represent this in a creative manner. We have then collated their responses into a digital museum website which is located here. https://sites.google.com/education/bpcs-digital-museum/home. Please visit our site and enjoy the wonderful work done by the students. We are very proud of our students and their fantastic work. Great learning continues throughout remote learning conditions.
