23.01.2022 We love our customers The Manager, Today we took our elderly neighbour to your restaurant for lunch and we had a very enjoyable relaxing lunch sitting out on the verandah.... We only decided to book last night and did so with ease on the "Open table." website. When we arrived at our designated table we found it was incredibly noisy as there were 2 large groups of young women celebrating. My husband and our elderly friend both have hearing aids and loud noise is very difficult for them. With the noise that was happening I asked the thoughtful young waiter if we could move outside. He was very understanding about the situation. This waiter and another lady soon had us set up outside. Our food was just sensational. My husband ordered the slow cooked shoulder lamb and our friend and I ordered the Pork belly. We also shared a wonderfully presented cheese platter. We couldn't have had better food. We were impressed by the price of the food making it more affordable for the three of us who are on pensions. So many restaurants in the wineries are becoming very expensive. It means we can visit every now and then on special occasions. The smaller style of restaurant also appealed to us as so many of the restaurant / wineries in the Yarra Valley have become very big. Lastly, but importantly, your staff were just fantastic. They listened and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We had wanted to go to Meletos for lunch today but they were booked out. We are so glad that they were booked out as we've found a better place for lunch. We hope to be back soon and will tell our friends about your great restaurant. Many many thanks.
