23.01.2022 To do a job right, sometimes it takes only 2 hours but sometimes 2 days... This customer came in for an air conditioning check as the A/C was not performing nearly as well as it should. After diagnosing a leaking evaporator as one of the culprits, we called to let the customer know the extent of the job. On most vehicles its a pretty straightforward job to replace this component - but some cars require removing the entire dash to get that damn evaporator out!!

20.01.2022 Matt had a good run on the weekend, best being a 10.5 pass @ 135 mph on a soft launch. His turbocharged standard LS engine featuring our MMS13T turbo camshaft, MMS hand-ported heads and a custom tune on our in-house dyno. Was a lot of fun to work on. ... Looking to use a transbrake at the next Test n' Tune to look for some even better numbers. Lots of fun and a good outing Matt, well done!

19.01.2022 Jamie brought in his VE work ute to us this week for a retune. It already had solid power due to a cam/exhaust/OTR that was done elsewhere, but unfortunately he was never quite happy with the tune and thought it may be worthwhile getting someone else to have a look at it. He took a chance and brought it to us to do fresh from stock custom tune on our dyno, and now all is right with the world. Thanks Jamie, it was a pleasure!

18.01.2022 Sometimes it's the simple things in life that are the best. Mick's VZ 5.7L ute doesn't have a built engine. It doesn't have a twin turbo set up and it's not on the bottle. This here is the perfect example of a well thought-out and fastidiously maintained Aussie V8. It's a tough, N/A LS1 with an aftermarket exhaust system, a large-mouth OTR intake and a precision custom tune that has it making 333 hp at the rear wheels. Some things just never get old :D

17.01.2022 Torque on tap. Ben's Nissan GU Patrol Ute is brutal. We replaced his engine with a 5.7L LS1, to which we fitted our MMS14SC supercharger specific cam package along with adjusted rocker geometry, fitted a modified oil pump and upgraded his fuel system to cope and finished it up on our dyno on both 98 and E85. Go you good thing.

15.01.2022 Say hi to one of the fastest street cars in Mackay. It was a great result over the weekend from the first test session with the new computer in Matt's VZ Clubsport. Full factory interior still intact, weighing in at a hefty 4,200lbs on the scales and running a 275 radial rather than a full slick. This 406ci LS with a massive Garrett GTX55 and TH400 transmission made / on the dyno after our custom tune - even with the wheel spin... There's more to come as we're pl...anning on pushing the boost and launching at a higher RPM among a number of other adjustments learned from the weekend. 14.01.2022 Hayden’s VY Clubsport is a thing of beauty. Featuring a MMS modified 6.2L engine with ported heads along with some relatively basic mods, our MMS13T turbo camshaft package and a single Garrett turbo, this Clubbie made 700 hp after the custom tune on our dyno and now runs like a dream, sounds mint and goes very, very hard. Keep an eye out for this one!

13.01.2022 Nick's L98 powered Patrol was in for a set of King Offroad Racing shock absorbers, a diff gear swap along with a new fuel system. This consisted of new fuel rails, fuel lines, fuel pumps and a fuel pressure regulator. We also fitted our MMS LS Patrol a/c compressor and mounting kit before putting it on the dyno for a custom tune. Happy days!

13.01.2022 Kyle and Simone were amazing to work with. They made it clear from the get-go that they were looking to do something a little different, and we were all on board with it. Their VE's powerplant wasn't in the best of shape, so rather than rebuild and then turbo or charge, they opted instead to transplant a brand spanking new engine, namely an LSA 6.2L Supercharged V8 instead. Along with our MMS14SC camshaft, new clutch, fuel system to suit and a little extra boost along with a custom built airbox, we managed to get this VE sounding the way they always wanted it to. Hope you enjoy it guys!

09.01.2022 We had a go at the new-gen GM Motorsport "Ramjet 3" OTR on Jason's VF SS, and the results were pretty solid! Jason wasn't looking for an over-the-top exhaust note so he went with an Xforce 2.5" cat-back, the OTR and a custom tune to tie the package together. His VF ended up making a tidy 382 hp at the wheels, so it seems that this intake can safely stand right next to the usual suspects of Harrop and VCM. Very interesting!

09.01.2022 Had a great time yesterday Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc!!! Was a great turnout with a bunch of our customer's cars on show, and the MMS dyno ran up nearly a tonne of cars which was great to see. Good times!
