EP BUGGY CLASS IS RUNNING. $65 per Driver for First Nominated Class and $45 for a Second Class. Friday: Track Open for Practice (no Timing System). Saturday: Morning Practice 8AM (With Timing System - 10 Mins per class) followed by 3 X Qualifying Rounds (2 Dropped rounds out of 5). Sunday: 2 x Qualifiers followed by Finals. 21.01.2022 Been a long long long time everyone. So tomorrow at about 3:00 pm myself and Brad Gale are heading out to badlands to cut laps and run in a new engine for 2021 if anyone is interested in coming out for laps your more than welcome.

21.01.2022 Would like to thank Jamie for showing up today for some track TLC and especially Leigh Cleine for all his work today. Leigh started at noon and finished at 3:30 Jamie started a bit earlier and did what he could till he had to go. Bit of a shame that no one else showed up to help. Track gets used and flogged to pieces constantly and when the repairs are needed it’s only a few who show up to do it. What a shame.

14.01.2022 A new comer to our club is heading to the track tomorrow at noon . Would be nice if anyone could meet him there and help out as he is doing some maintenance. His name is Leigh and he is helping us out big time on a rebuild soon so if anyone is free to help him do a small amount of maintenance we would be so greatly appreciate.

14.01.2022 This Sunday the 20th December a few of us are heading out at around 9:30/ 10:00 am to the track to cut some laps and do some testing, if anyone wants to come out and join that would be awesome as more the merrier. Hope to see you there.

04.01.2022 Ok. Hi all. Last night I had an interesting conversation on Facebook with an old member that has made me wonder about what is being said in rumours about our club. I am going to explain what is going on with badrc and where we are heading. Now to start of with we tried hard last year to get club racing happening but was somewhat unsuccessful. We have plenty of people who use our track regularly but never attended club days which you pay to race and the money helps pay insura...nce and ongoing maintenance cost to make the facility as good as we can. If no money comes in we as president and Vice President and Gale as shop owner at BMRC use our own money out of our pockets to buy clay, pay for insurance, pay for water and pay for materials that are used to run a club. We had organised to do a rebuild over Christmas but the fella who had clay and machinery had personal issues arise which is far more important than building a track come up, so the rebuild didn’t happen. All good. Now I recent pass we have held working bees in which next to nobody showed up to and the ones that did know who they are and it left a foul taste in our mouth about our efforts in keeping this track open with published meetings and working Bees and no attendance to either ones. However we will push on. But as we have noticed so far this year is that 1/8 off road racing is at an all time low and many tracks around Victoria feeling the pinch and no one is holding racing meets at all so far. We have a few big meetings this month with EMCC cup and a few weeks later Vic Nationals at MORRCC but apart from that it’s not much happening. So due to this slump we as a club have held off in regards to club days until we see some spike in enthusiasm in 1/8 off road racing again but make no mistake we have not folded nor gone under we are just having a quit 2020 until we see it pick up. As usual you can use the track when ever but until we get support for maintaining it it may just keep getting rough until we few members decide to do work on it. Remember guys and girls we have life’s outside RC as well as you all do. We work hard and try to survive in this tough times in this world. We shouldn’t have to sacrifice our weekends to maintain the club and sacrifice our sundays for our club days for no one to appreciate or come and support our club on race day. We do however want people to have fun but with fun come help and work. I hope people read this and understand where we are coming from and if you have constructive input and wanna help make the club thrive contact us and we will talk.
