22.01.2022 COVID UPDATE After the step back for Victoria over the weekend we can tell you that our senior competition dates are now on hold and we and we are moving back to groups of 10 at training. We cannot confirm at this stage if the return to play dates for seniors will stay the same or change. On a positive note, our junior competition is on track to start 11th July. Please note that this may still change.... We will continue to keep you all up to date as we get the information. Keep safe and don't forget to register with SportsTG to train.

22.01.2022 Good morning Boneo members, We still don't have any new information about the junior or senior winter season. Juniors are still supposedly starting 11th July and seniors on hold. SportsTG is not ready to register to play as yet so please prepare for a very last minute registration. To anyone who works/lives in the postcodes released by Dan Andrews yesterday please don't attend training.... We will keep you updated as soon as we get information.

Yes, it's not over yet, but let's take a moment to reflect on how far we have come. To our frontline staff; to our health-workers; our teachers; our home-schooling and working from home juggling parents; to our children who missed school, friends and special occasions; to our community groups that closed down or postponed events; to everyone who conducted zoom meetings; to everyone who missed out on friends, family and work to stay home - we salute you! 17.01.2022 If you haven't already seen it, the DBA have made the call to cancel the winter baseball season for both junior and senior competition due to the current COVID 19 situation in Victoria. This means all training sessions are cancelled also. We thank all of our members and coaches who signed up and attend training and we look forward to getting back out there next season. 13.01.2022 Hand hygiene is one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of germs and viruses, including COVID-19. Over the last few months, we have come to be quite... familiar with hand sanitiser but did you know it is not the preferred method of cleaning your hands? Regularly washing for at least 20 seconds with a bit of soap and warm water is the best way to clean your hands and protect yourself from anything nasty that you might have picked up on your travels. However, sometimes that just isn’t practical. If you are at the shops, or can’t access running water or soap, sanitiser can be very handy indeed it doesn’t replace the need to regularly wash your hands. 13.01.2022 CANCELLATION OF DBA SENIOR & JUNIOR WINTER SEASON Dandenong Baseball Association this morning informed our clubs and Baseball Victoria of its decision to cance...l the 2020 Winter season. To all Dandenong Baseball Association members and friends. It is with much sadness and regret that I announce on behalf of the DBA Board that the 2020 senior/junior Winter baseball season will be cancelled as of Monday the 6th of July. I would like to thank all members of the baseball community for their patience in these trying times. This decision has not been made lightly, and we hope that you all respect our decision. The DBA board have made every endeavour to try and run some form of a season, but with the recent events around COVID 19, it is making it impossible for us to move forward for a safe season. We have had weekly meetings with BV, and constant meetings with our clubs to discuss our options. We believe our decision to cancel the 2020 season is the right decision for our members to stay safe. We believe it is just not viable for the clubs to run a junior season due to the cost or the workload involved. And concerns about the health of members of the baseball community outweigh any desire to get a game played. If anything, restrictions seem likely to be increased. MWBL and GBA has also come to similar conclusions, and is in the process of notifying their members. I hope everyone stays healthy and safe as we look forward to a bigger and better season in 2021. Following this afternoon’s press conference, we are evaluating these changes and will take the latest government and health advice into consideration as we make any necessary updates to our announcements.
