24.01.2022 Hey ladies, the mum’s out there, this one for you: You, the one who Wakes up before everyone else The one that works late every night ... The one who gave up their hobbies to make time with for their families The one who has lost herself in her family ladies, you’re trying to pour from an empty cup. Tell me if you can relate: I can’t invest in myself because my kids need xxxx. I bought a kettlebell and I worked out a couple of times last week. I need to have a few drinks to be able to wind down each day. ENOUGH Stop using your kids, husband and busy life as an excuse. Imagine how you would feel if you were 10kg lighter...Your joints wouldn’t hurt, you would play with your kids instead of watching tv, you would take your top off at the beach You would confidently walk around with your head held up high You would take your husband out on a date and wear something other than the same old trackies It’s not selfish to carve time for yourself. To train, to read, to hang out with other friends or to go to seminars to improve yourself. So now you gotta say ENOUGH! I am done blaming my family. I’ve put myself on the back burner for too long. I am sick of feeling like and want to be a role model for my kids and desired by my husband. If this is you, MESSAGE me. I am looking for five mums who are ready to level up and change their lives. Don’t message if you want a deal, a quick fix or need to think about it.

22.01.2022 Welcome to my super secret (until now!!!) alone space. OK, so maybe it’s not SO secret or exclusive, but it’s my little escape! A *lot* of us are experiencing more togetherness time with our families and loved ones these days, during our isolation-in-place orders! with these rules being backed off this week.... Which on one hand is great. And on the other hand, it can be hard to find time to be ALONE to recharge and collect your thoughts! We're not going back into normal life so their will be lots of alone time still. My alone space lately is when I go for a walk. It's the only time my brain can switch off and I get the recharge I need. I need my alone time. Time alone is so important . even if you’re an extrovert who thrives in social situations! I know a lot of people use their commutes as their wind-down time, but now we need to be a little more creative when it comes to finding ways to recharge! 22.01.2022 Let’s get REAL about food cravings ... Almost everyone gets them even people whose jobs it is to help others reach their goals! (Hint: ME!) So I am going to tell you exactly WHAT I DO when I feel a craving coming on. ... You do anything really to take your mind off it. Find healthy food to eat instead you brush your teeth go to bed early go for a walk have a big drink of water allow yourself to have a few bites of it or maybe you distract yourself and ride it out till it goes away. I personally brush my teeth. Because no food goes with the taste of toothpaste. Yuck! Don’t let a temporary urge get in the way of achieving your goals! YOU are stronger than your cravings you just need to have a go-to strategy in place for when they strike, so they don’t knock you off course. Do you get food cravings? How do you deal with them? 11.01.2022 Have you tried to stop touching your face and are shocked at how hard it is?!!! On average, people touch their faces as many as 23 times an hour! I reckon I'm at least double that. We all know we SHOULD stop doing it because it contributes big-time to spreading germs and viruses but why is it so hard to quit?... It’s because for most of us, touching our face is a deeply ingrained habit that we use when we’re feeling certain emotions (embarrassed, worried, surprised, nervous) or if we have an itch or muscle tension. Because it’s so ingrained, it can be hard to recognize you’re even DOING it! How can you stop a habit you’re not even aware of? One of the things researchers suggest is NOTING when you touch your face, and if you have any particular triggers. Then, work from there to cut back. With lockdown easing, it's important we focus on not spreading more germs, what else do the researchers recommend? I know I have. Answer: Avoiding finger foods that you eat with your hands. 10.01.2022 I DARE YOU TO TRY THIS AT ALL OF YOUR MEALS TODAY . it’s a lot harder than you might think!!! It’s to SLOW DOWN when you’re eating by at least 50%. Take your time and really CHEW your food. You get extra credit for turning off all distractions when you’re eating, too no TV and no phone!... Studies show that people who say they eat fast gain weight over time and are more than 115% (!!!!) likely to become obese. Plus when you take your time to actually TASTE what you’re eating, you get to enjoy it more, and your digestive system has a much easier time doing its job! 09.01.2022 Everyone give it up for Christina for finding her balance and her happy place I have only started this program at the start of lockdown and Tanna was the most helpful person I have ever met!!! I explained to her how busy I am with my schedule as I am a hairdresser and she put so much confidence in me. 03.01.2022 Here’s a common-sense, old-school food craving tip that works!!! Just because you have a craving, doesn’t mean you have to give up on your goals you can use these tips to have the BEST of both! CRAVING PASTA? try the fibre/protein-rich varieties made out of lentils or chickpeas (these are surprisingly filling!!!!). ... OR, use spiralized veggie noodles they are literally everywhere now in the grocery stores, fresh and frozen. Tip: try using zucchini or eggplant slices in your lasagna. CRAVING ICE CREAM? try whipping up a frozen dessert bowl with 1 cup frozen berries and to cup of your favourite milk. Blend in scoop of your favourite protein powder for more oomph!
