Audrey is a motivated clinician. Following graduation, she has been constantly adding to her dentistry knowledge and skills through continuing education courses to be current with the new developments in dentistry.... 13.01.2022 In view of the recent spread of COVID-19 in Australia we thought its important to update you on the status of our clinics and procedures we have implemented in relation to the current situation. For several weeks we have been closely monitoring AHPRA, Australian Dental Association, global medical updates and in addition we have been in contact with several colleagues from overseas regarding protocols to create a safer environment for our patients and staff during these chall...enging times. Our clinic is open and it is our position to remain open and follow the guidelines & recommendations of the Department of Health and Human Services and the Victorian Government. We have many patients that need assistance and our responsibility is to all our patients at this time. Viewing the unfolding situation, we decided to take proactive steps. Therefore, as of early last week we started implementing enhanced and unprecedented infection control measures to achieve this goal. Our actions and efforts are in addition to our routinely strict protocols and are not limited to our treatment rooms but also involve our reception area and other common areas in our clinics. We spaced our appointments to promote social distancing. Hand sanitizer and hand washing facilities are offered to each person who enters our practices including curriers and family members. All common areas are being sanitised regularly. Items routinely touched by clients and staff: door handles, benchtops, reception chairs, handrails etc. are being disinfected after each patient. We believe that by taking these extra steps, together with following the guidelines as populated by the media we will be able to continue servicing our clients in a safer and cleaner environment during these challenging times. The enhanced infection control measures we are implementing are time consuming; involve actions taken during and after your appointment and also rely on your cooperation. As a result, we require more time between appointments which unfortunately reduces the number of patients we are able to see per day. We appreciate your understanding and support. The government had announced that as of the 27th of April, Dentistry restrictions are to be lowered to level 2. As a result, we (as of next week) are able to resume some of the important Dental treatments that had to be postponed under level 3 restrictions. 03.01.2022 Welcome our new staff member - Dr. Andrew Polychenko! Dr Andrew Polyachenko studied in Queensland prior to returning home and working at private dental clinics in Melbourne, Victoria. He chose to become a dentist because he enjoys being able to help people while working with his hands.... Andrew has a passion for helping patients achieve the smile theyve always wanted. He hopes to assist patients overcome their phobia of the dentist, and has a special interest in giving patients back their ability to chew and function properly through dental crowns, bridges and implants. Outside of dentistry Andrew likes staying active through cycling, swimming and going to the gym. He also loves to travel and discover new places around the world. Last but not least, he is a very keen Essendon Bombers supporter in the AFL. He has also spent some time volunteering in both local Aboriginal communities to primary schools in Cambodia doing dental work where people do not have access to it.
