24.01.2022 MEMBER CHATS The thought of joining functional was daunting especially when my body has undergone prenatal and postnatal changes, but going to balanced is something I look forward to, its a must in my schedule to try and fit in 2 or 3 sessions a week. Its my time where I can do something for me, and investing in me is ultimately investing in being the best balanced mum. Being a mum of two under the age of two I love the 9:30am classes. I drop my kids off at my paren...ts and off I go, the classes are adjustable to my fitness level and the trainers are so approachable to answer my questions since Ive been out of a fitness regime for almost 3 years. The functional environment is what I need I can zip in and out under an hour and I have a structured session, with guidance. My partner and I schedule/ book sessions with the app so we know what we are doing. We love that you made the choice to join us and are super proud of the progress you have made already. It was so rewarding seeing so many people push to their limits, get the body moving and get to know each other outside of the gym environment! Our home grown town that has given both of us opportunities through our childhood, our schooling and now our business. 20 days since closing and we are missing all the sweaty faces terribly! 20.01.2022 Today we welcomed David, a 55 year old into our session. David says: Id never done anything like this before. Ive steered clear of gyms over the years getting my exercise from team sports and later running, cycling, bushwalking. So I wasnt sure what I was getting myself in to! Danielle and Brent put me at ease with good instruction and advice at the start. The sessions were high in intensity, competitive and extended me outside of my usual, leisurely exercise. I enjoyed the camaraderie of the whole group and being part of a team with two of my daughters. Great work David, you are an inspiration the way that you look after your body and challenge yourself both physically and mentally on a regular basis!

12.01.2022 This is Gabby our Yoga Instructor! Gabbys background comes from dancing; She is a freelance professional contemporary dancer and teacher. Through her dance training she discovered Yoga. In 2019 Gabby travelled to the birthplace of Yoga, Rishikesh, in India, where she completed a 200hr RYS Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher certification. Ashtanga Yoga is a set series of asanas (postures), and Vinyasa (flow).... Gabby teaches a 45min Vinyasa class aimed at all levels of experience to strengthen the core, assist with flexibility, and relax the mind. I really believe yoga can be accessible and beneficial for everyone and is a fantastic way to wind down at the end of the day. I started off by instructing small group training session with friends and family, on the side of a full time building career. Keep posted for more updates as we have only been given limited information on this. We are very sad to be closing our little business but understand it is best in keeping everyone safe and healthy. 04.01.2022 Almost 2 years ago, we opened our 24/7 gym and have welcomed over 1000 clients since then. With the growing demand of group training and the challenges of running classes in such a confined space, we explored the idea of opening a second facility. Within a month or two, the opportunity to lease the old video store come about. After some serious planning and many discussions we decided to take a second leap so that we can offer more to our clients! With both of us having a kee...n interest in the fitness industry, we decided to jump in to the opportunity of working more closely within our business! This year, both of us will be taking classes daily at our new Functional Centre! We are so excited to help motivate, educate and support those involved with us at Balanced and hope to see many of our local people set and achieve some outstanding personal goals!
