25.01.2022 Hi All, on behalf of your local Fire Brigade members at 210 Balgownie, we just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy & safe New Year for 2020, thanks for the ongoing support. Yesterday we had a crew attend the catastrophic conditions in the Batemans Bay areas, the crew was confronted with horrendous conditions but did a fantastic job saving numerous businesses & homes & made a difference to people’s lives so well done to everyone assisting fighting fires locally & across the country.

18.01.2022 Hi All, Your friendly Fire Fighters from Balgownie Fire Brigade want to let you all know that we will be keeping up our long tradition of Santa coming around on Christmas Eve to drop off bags of lollies to all kids. This year we will be doing things a little bit differently to try and make sure things are COVIDSafe. Santa has lots of people to visit this year so we want to keep him & you all safe.... Santa will throw the lollies to kids, social distancing will need to be maintained at all times, no kids young or old will be allowed onto the trucks, photo opportunities will be limited and any photos will have to ensure appropriate spacing. We love the joy this event brings to the Community and we hope you all understand why things need to be a little different this year, we just want to make sure everyone is safe and have a Merry Christmas. 11.01.2022 Hi All, It’s that time of year again. If you are in the Mount Ousley or Balgownie area today keep your eyes & ears open for Santa. Santa has taken over the fire truck for the afternoon to visit the locals and give out lollies. Merry Christmas from everyone at Balgownie Fire Brigade & please spare a thought for our colleagues who are out still fighting fires across the State & those who have been affected by the fires
