25.01.2022 We have just had a cancellation for the long weekend 9,10,11 March if anyone is interested.

23.01.2022 Is anyone interested in booking Arda Cluggen during week commencing Monday 15th January. The existing booking has moved to the following week, so there is an opportunity if anyone is interested. It is also advertised on Stayz.

23.01.2022 We are back in business! As from 1st June gatherings of 20 people are allowed to stay overnight in holiday accommodation! Arda Cluggen is completely isolated with no neighbours nearby, so very safe for people to visit and you do not need to leave the property if you don't want to. There are 200 acres to explore!

22.01.2022 Just to let everyone know, Arda Cluggen now has a new oven. I know some guests had a bit of trouble with the oven door, so if you come again, it has now been fixed with a new oven that is bigger than the last one!

19.01.2022 Just to confirm the cost of staying at Arda Cluggen for one night is $550 and for 2 nights plus the price per night reduces to $450 per night. Unfortunately on our HomeAway / Stayz, page headline, I only have the option of advertising one price and use the $450 as most bookings are for 2 nights. This is explained in our description page on HomeAway/Stayz. in addition HomeAway/Stayz also add on a booking fee which is out of my control. There has recently been some confusion on this point, hence I thought I would explain the difference between 1 night and 2 nights plus. As many people are aware not all properties offer one night as it is easy to get 2 nights for a weekend in a popular area. However we do offer so many 1 night bookings per year, but can only do so at an increased nightly rate to cover the costs of cleaning, wood etc.

16.01.2022 Understandably most people have deferred or canceled their bookings. We do hope everyone is well and staying safe. Hopefully when these strange times are over, everyone will be pleased for a break and we will be open for business. Stay safe everyone and keep in touch.

14.01.2022 Also apologies, if we have been tardy in getting back to you via FB messenger. There is an odd issue whereby I am not always notified, plus on clicking the messages, it does not always open. I think it is an issue with our modem and apple computers. I am aware of it now, so will check on a daily basis!

10.01.2022 If we offered Glamping at Arda Cluggen either as a separate from the house on one of our adjacent properties, or adjacent to the house to accommodate for large groups, would this be of interest to anyone. Just canvassing the idea at the moment. Glamping is glamorous camping i.e. in large tents with proper beds and rugs etc. Please let us have your views. Thanks.

10.01.2022 Just to confirm that Arda Cluggen is still open for business whilst we are able to move around the state. The property is on 200 acres away from any neighbours and if you bring your own supplies, there is no reason to leave the property. We do not typically have back to back bookings, so it is cleaned and usually left vacant for 5 - 6 days before the next group of guests arrive. We will keep you posted if there are any changes. 09.01.2022 Just to let you know Arda Cluggen has temporarily disappeared off Stayz. It should be back on in the next 24 hours. I inadvertently forgot to pay the annual membership due on 31st January, but it is paid now!

08.01.2022 Just letting everyone know, I am also planning to add Arda Cluggen to airbnb as well as HomeAway/Stayz. For those of you that contact me direct either via this Facebook page or email that is still fine. Clearly our Australian guests are still the priority, but would like to be in t he market for overseas too. With all the wildlife, it would be great for people from overseas to experience life in the country in Australia as well as bringing business to the local community.

08.01.2022 Another project is also underway. We have sadly had the pine forest on the adjacent property cut down. I say sadly as we do not like to cut down trees and our girls had lots of fun playing in them when they were young. However, they are not native to the area. Although they look good, when you walk through them there is no life in them. This year will be about the 'clean up' and then hopefully the native trees with regenerate. We may even decide to update the small cabin on this property as a basic, cosy place to stay.

08.01.2022 We had to replace our bathroom due to some issues with the floorboards, which of course were under the floor tiles!! I am yet to see it in person but work looks great by Mount Alexander Builders!

05.01.2022 Well this year will see some improvements to Arda Cluggen. In the next 2 months we are finally getting the drive resurfaced! The exterior mud brick will have a new coat of render. We are also upgrading the ensuite bathroom given some issues with the floor, hence why we are blocking out May until we know the exact dates in May. Watch this space and we will keep you updated with the progress!

03.01.2022 At last we have a new driveway!! Very pleased with the photos,have yet to see it in person!!

03.01.2022 I thought I would share a review in our guest book from a six year old boy. "It was an awesome experience. I had a ton of fun and I want to stay here forever and ever. I loved this place. I want to buy this home". Ryan aged 6 years. Very pleased that children have fun at our holiday home - makes letting and sharing it also an 'awesome experience'!!

02.01.2022 A bit of a mix up with the booking for this weekend 6/7/8 March. Arda Cluggen is now free if anyone is interested in a last minute long weekend booking!
