24.01.2022 A big congratulations to the u18 div1 Balgownie Juniors who finished their season this weekend. Many of these young men were dual registered to play senior football for BRFC this season. The boys have stepped up and helped the u20s gain the championship and continue to support them during their finals campaign. The u18 boys also stepped up to help out with the reserve grade squad this year. A big step for them but they held their own and played to a very high standard. 20.01.2022 BRFC 2020 committee members. The people who make the club what it is. Without them we wouldn’t be here. Thank you for all your dedication over the years and especially this year, we all know it’s been a tough one. But things are looking up for 2021. Please note, BRFC will be holding our club AGM on Sunday the 13th of December at Collegians Balgownie, please be there at 11am.

20.01.2022 Tomorrow morning the 24th of October, our under20s side will be playing for a position in the grand final. The game is at JJ Kelly Park at 1030 am. Hope to see BRFC fans there supporting our young lads.

20.01.2022 BRFC is pleased to announce our first offical signing for the 2021 season. Goktug Cookie Yasar. Cookie is the most important face to our club. His smile and words bring happiness to everyone around. Other clubs have been chasing him and asking him to jump ship. But cookie is a true Bally Boy. ... When you see him give him a hello.

18.01.2022 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT Balgownie Rangers Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Luke Bucks Buckley as the new reserve grade coach for the upcoming 2021 season. Bucks, a Balgownie faithful in every sense of the word, played both junior and senior football with the mighty Rangers. Bucks has been with the Balgownie Rangers senior club for over 10 years. In his time at BRFC, Bucks has been awarded titles such as, the youngest player to play first grade since Socce...roo and fellow alumnus Matt Horsley. Luke was also named rookie of the year and player of the year during his career. Bucks was a critical part of the historic youth grade team of 2011 which completed the premiership and grand final double. His playing career is paralleled by his coaching career with our youth grade squad, many of whom have been capped in first grade. We look forward to having Bucks back as a coach with BRFC for 2021. A reminder, our first club trials will be held on Tuesday the 17th of November, 6pm at Judy Masters Oval. U20’s, reserves and first grade players all welcome and encouraged to attend.

16.01.2022 Our games scheduled to be played at bally this weekend have now been moved to Berkeley sports. Youth 11am Reserves 1pm Firsts 3pm

16.01.2022 Tomorrow (sat 21/08/20) the Balgownie Rangers host Helensburgh Thistle at Judy Masters Oval. With the under20’s kicking things off at 11am. There will only be one point of entry which is the gate at the end of Para Street. There will be an attendance register sheet and QR Code for every person who enters the ground to sign and check in. There will also be hand sanitiser for all to use and apply. The usual rules of 1.5 metre intervals when seating and at the canteen and BBQ ...areas still apply. Please adhere to these rules and regulations as our club and officials are doing the best they can during these challenging times. Players and coaching staff please also adhere to these rules, the change rooms will be open for players to change, but only 3 people are allowed in the room at one time. Good luck to all the players and coaches tomorrow. U20’s: 11am Reserves: 1pm First Grade: 3pm

08.01.2022 BRFC hosted Warilla Wanderers for round 10 and what was our last home game of the regular season. The games were played under lights at the magpies nest and it was a great contest for all three grades. Thanks to all who came out to support the lads. 08.01.2022 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT Balgownie Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Glenn DOZZA Dorrian as first grade head coach for the upcoming 2021 season. Dozza, who has had a great playing career spanning over 16 years of first grade football alone. He has played along side international players and has played under some very quality coaches. In his time Dozza was an impressive forward who has won golden boot awards and in 2010 he was in the district leagu...e premiership winning first grade team for BRFC, who later that year went on to win the grand final where Dozza scored the winner. In 2020 Dozza was appointed club attacking coach and first grade assistant. He thoroughly enjoyed stepping into a coaching role and especially working with and mentoring the young lads who are stepping up in senior football careers. We look forward to seeing Dozza’s attacking football nature expressed through his coaching techniques within our club for 2021. The club is also very happy to announce that James Dummo Dummett will be staying with BRFC for 2021 as our club mentor coach. He will be working closely with all players and coaches, helping them in all aspects of their individual and team performance. On that note.
