12.01.2022 NOTICE OF AGM: Balingup Medieval Carnivale Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 13th October at 3pm sharp at the Blackwood Daily Grind Cafe in Mullalyup. This will be a brief AGM and will be followed by a catered event at the same venue where all volunteers who gave time to the Carnivale this year are invited to attend. Please share this invitation with anyone whom you know gave of their time and resources to the Carnivale this year. Please also encourage them to attend the AGM. We are on the look out for a new Secretary! This event includes food catering but is BYO alcohol. Please RSVP for catering purposes to Fran 0499 396 643.

04.01.2022 A missive from Twin River Guard Your Royal Highnesses’, M’ Lords, M’ Ladies, Freemen, merchants, peasants, and beggars alike lend me thine attendance a moment if it pleases thee The dreaded plague hath caused chaos, and mayhem in our realm the likes of which hasn’t been visited upon us for many years past. In response our leaders hath deemed it inappropriate to congregate in numbers for our own wellbeing. Many of us look towards the end of August with thinly veiled glee in ...anticipation of days of celebration. Mine offspring and spouse feel this year’s loss of our annual BMC sojourn and congregation greatly as indeed doth I. In light of this I beseech thee to be remember’ed of Carnivale over the preordained weekend of August (21st - 23rd ) and in sacred ceremony burneth a dragon of thine own concoction, be it paper or wood, hand made or procured. The aspect of thine dragon, and the breadth of thine flames wouldst be of personal preference. I wouldst encourage all who burneth such a dragon to place evidence of thine endeavours here on the Booke of Faces for all to appreciate. Let it be known that we of the Twin River Guard, your Northern Guardians, will sincerely miss making merriment with the good (and bad) folk of the BMC, Grey Company and Knights of the Free Company.
