23.01.2022 We'd just like to say thank-you to Racing Victoria and Country Racing Victoria for keeping horse racing going during the pandemic. We know you are working closely with the Government and health authorities to navigate the challenge and put protocols in place that have allowed for the safe continuation of racing and training in Victoria. Who knows if we will be able to have patrons at the Ballan Cup on Nov. 7, but at least, at this stage, the horses will be racing ... Thanks for keeping everyone safe. 21.01.2022 Ballan Cup is on !! The horses will be racing !! We've been told the Ballan Community Bank Cup will go ahead as planned on Saturday 7th November, coinciding with the final day of the Spring Racing Carnival. The Ballan Cup will be held at Geelong Racecourse.... Given the unclear timeline for the easing of social restrictions for large gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, at this stage no advice has been given whether patrons will be allowed to attend or not. As soon as we are made aware, we will let you know. In the meantime, we are pleased the date has been confirmed along with the rest of the Spring Racing Carnival Calendar.
