24.01.2022 Double skinned, double entrance Long Lang’s ready to be picked up. The bees will be snug this winter.

21.01.2022 Susan purchased one of our long langs and trasferred bees into it from a double deep langstroth hive back in September. Yesterday Susan reported that she had just inspected, and found the hive chockers, with 10 brood frames and 22 frames full of capped honey. Who says bees in horizontal hives don't produce much honey?

14.01.2022 Taking orders now for delivery in Spring - solidly built Long Langs and Topbar hives. All hives - Oiled pine body, painted pine weatherboard lids, solid base with ventilation. Redgum legs. 2 Follow boards. Long Langs include marine ply cover boards. Basic hive - $380. Double thick walls (44mm) add $40, Optional Cedar lid - add $40. Topbar hives include 32 topbars at 35mm width. Basic hive $400, Double thick walls, add $40, Optional Cedar lid, add $40.... Prefer the hives to be picked up, but delivery can be negotiated. Can also supply bees if required.
