20.01.2022 A fantastic launch to unveil the Ballarat Sportsmen's Clubs 60 year history booklet...

18.01.2022 To the members of the Ballarat Sportsmens Club. Meeting you all in 2016 to share my story was a great night that I remember fondly. In these difficult times when family, friends and fellow members aren’t able to get together it can be very challenging to stay positive. The Ballarat Sportsmens Club is a very special group. Your friendly, welcoming and community minded group is a credit to all members and an asset to the Ballarat Community. Keep supporting one another and keep in touch over the phone while looking forward to the time when you can all get together again and enjoy each others mate-ship. Remember tough times never last forever and together you can get through these challenges. Best wishes Sam Riggio

13.01.2022 Dear members, Wishing you, your families and sports clubs perseverence and health. Reflecting on my dinners with the Ballarat Sportsmen's Club I have always been struck by the kindness, genuine interest and honesty of you all.... Your events are inclusive and always interesting with both the stories from guest speakers and the stories around the table. It's times of change like these that encourage creativity and adaptability and I trust you are all pulling on your experiences of success and adversity to make the most of these times. In my household with 3 little kids we are utilizing the benefits of sport and have turned our small garden into a volleyball rebound court using an angled table to spike the ball on to. Cycling, yoga, pilates, dance workouts, scootering and taking a variety of balls to the oval have helped us to stay happy amongst the mayhem of at home school, work and toddler! Slowing down our expectations but staying physically active has given enjoyment, positivity and focus to each day. And whilst we dearly miss visiting Dad in Napoleons we know we have to just do what is right. Wishing all of you members the very best in patience, health and happiness. Tamsin
