WE ARE STILL OPEN - RUNNING AS NORMAL. ***Please if you feel sick or not well - STAY HOME. *** Bracken Ridge Indoor Sports is working under the State Government and QLD Health Departments and have been advised to conduct business as usual.... Everyday we are monitoring the Australian Government Department of Healths advice app & will always take action accordingly to protect our customers through strict sanitation and health procedures. Bracken Ridge Indoor Sports is taking COVID-19 very seriously. We can are cleaning our venue on a daily basis and we have taken extra precautions with hand sanitize full and available for any patrons/customers before and after matches. Plus we have removed the sign on screens and asked the umpires to clean the balls at each quarter with Clean 20. The likelihood of there being more than 100 people at each round is inevitable and player, staff and spectator safety would be compromised if we were to go ahead with the scheduled rounds in the immediate future. 14.01.2022 Our Bulls Outdoor Netball Players will have another fitness and strength session at the Les Hughes Sporting Complex this Saturday from 7am until 8.30am. All interested players aged 12 and over are welcome to attend. 12.01.2022 Our outdoor netballers are having another open training session this Saturday from 8am at Les Hughes Sporting Complex. All girls and boys aged between 12 and 18 are welcome to attend. This will be a full on fitness and strength training session to prepare our players for 2020 so anyone who attends needs to bring lots of water, a towel to wipe up all your sweat and lots of positive energy to get through the session.

12.01.2022 Well what an amazing day we had yesterday at Bracken Ridge Indoor Sports!! Our community came together and showed for our precious boy. It was a day for commun...ity by our community, we had people from all walks - some who play representative netball, some who have never played before, we had families, friends, colleagues, kids, adults, parents, grandparents all taking to the court for my boy!! Hendrix would have relished in a day like that, he loves some healthy competition, a good dress up and a great feed! There are no words to express how grateful Saiah, myself and our children are for all of the love and support that has been shown to our family during one of the hardest times of our lives. We truly are blessed to have each and everyone one of you in our lives and we are forever grateful. Hugest thank you to Riwhi, Tina, Michelle, Tegan and all of the team at our Bracken Ridge Bulls Netball family. Thank you Andrew our umpiring coordinator for the day and all of the people who volunteered their time to umpire in that ugly heat. Big thank you to Serena for organising and running the bake sale. Huge thank you to Kelly for all of the donations that she organised and her team at PFD Food Services and their associates for the BBQ, meat trays, bake sale items, hampers and vouchers. 09.01.2022 Massive Thank You to everyone who took part in the #TeamHendrix fundraising carnival yesterday. We had so many people volunteering to help out and so many businesses donate prizes for raffles and sales that the day was a bigger success then we hoped for. It was hot, hot, hot but we all survived and had fun doing it. Apologies in advance if we forget to thank someone who helped out yesterday (there were a lot of helpers) but, Thank you to everyone who helped out with umpiring..., first aid, doing the sausage sizzle, cake sales, raffle ticket sales and all the other things that went on during the day. Big Thanks to Bracken Ridge Indoor Sports for organising and donating the centre for the day. Finally a huge thank you for everyone who played and donated to help out this family very close to our hearts. The day ended up being more successful then we had expected and will help Kristina Rewha and her family as they give Hendrix strength to fight his medical battles. The kid is a fighter from a family of fighters and seeing this sort of love and support for them will help lift their spirits. 07.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of club stalwart Joanna Ashlar Crawley. On the court "Mama", as she was known to most, coached numerous Bull teams and successfully took a number of superleague teams to premierships. More important though was the impact she had on people off the court. The only thing bigger then her netball brain was her heart. When you played for her if you made a mistake she would give you a stare that would frighten the crap out of yo...u, then she would smile and give you a hug after the game and tell you how well you played. She wore her heart on her sleeve and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Most players she coached would agree they became better because of her. As much as loved netball, she loved her family more and if you were luckily enough to be included in that then you felt like a better person. Mama may be gone but she will always be watching over us with that big smile, that loud laugh and all the love she has to share. To her family, friends and loved ones, our heart is with you in these sad times. See more

04.01.2022 Our hearts are with the Rewha-Lo family as their son Hendrix puts in a good fight at Lady Cilento Hospital. His family are regular players at Bracken Ridge Indoor Sports so you have probably seen his cheeky grin around the place. Hendrix collapsed suddenly just over a week ago and suffered a couple of seizures. CT scans and MRI’s have revealed that he has a tumour on his brain which was bleeding. Hendrix has been in Intensive Care Unit under mild sedation since. They will be... doing a biopsy this week to determine what type of tumour it is and the best treatment. So far, He is doing really well and he is a little fighter who is not going to give up easily. The response has been fantastic and more then we expected so some games will be played on our outdoor courts. Bring sunscreen, sweat towels and lots of water to get through the day. This is a very special day for a very special family so lets see lots of positive attitudes and people having fun throughout the day. 02.01.2022 Tonight's superleague round against Action Indoor Sports Beenleigh has in fact been cancelled due to health concerns. Our apologies for any confusion over an earlier post (that was scheduled earlier in the week before more info became available).

01.01.2022 ***UPDATE*** Bracken Ridge Indoor Sports is pleased to announce we will be re-opening soon, hopefully within the next month. Unfortunately we can't give you an... exact date yet as the QLD Government is still working on when it will be safe for Indoor Sports and Play Centres to re-open however with more and more businesses and sports groups allowed to re-start each week we know it will only be a matter of time (assuming people are still doing the right things and we don't get a second outbreak of Coronavirus). We are getting our centre and staff prepped for whatever changes we have to make to ensure our players and staff are as safe as possible, and we will be ready to rock 'n roll when we get the green light. In the meantime we would like all team captains to contact us to confirm their team is still good to go, or if you need players so we can organise some for you, so we can get the draw prepared.
