13.01.2022 Following our post yesterday celebrating the Queen's birthday and looking back at her visit to the Ballarat Botanical Gardens in 1954, we have been sent some beautiful images from the family of Thomas Beaumont, the curator of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens. The images feature Queen Elizabeth being introduced to Mr Thomas Beaumont, the Curator of the Gardens and his wife, Lilias. Flowers were presented to the Queen by their youngest daughter, Helen, aged 7. Thank you to Came...ron and the Beaumont family for allowing us to share these incredible images.
