24.01.2022 Members, don’t forget our AGM will be held on Sunday 4th October at 11.30am. Voting will commence at 10.30 and conclude at 11.00. Given current regulations, we will conduct the meeting outside, weather permitting. Otherwise we will have alternative plans in place. Nomination forms for all positions will be taken down Sunday so if you wish to nominate for a position you must do today or tomorrow.

10.01.2022 Ballarat bowling club would like to send their condolences to Bruce W Sutherland and family on the loss of Muriel Sutherland today. Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know they are happy.

10.01.2022 After confirmation from Bowls Vic today, due to lawn bowls being a community based sport, face masks will not be required while playing bowls. This means masks will be required to be worn up until you start playing and once you stop playing your mask is to be worn again, but during play it is not required. If members feel that they want to continue to wear their mask during play that is no worries. After attending an online meeting with bdbd last night, there will be no promotion or relegation from this season due to us only playing 14 rounds and some clubs may have an unfair draw. There will be no pennants games on a Sunday this season, bdbd events will be played on Sundays.
