15.01.2022 ATTENTION Hello everybody. Looking for information on this thief who robbed a house in Yarrowee st Sebastopol, Ballarat on Thursday afternoon 10th M...ay. $1000 REWARD NO QUESTIONS ASKED IF CAN APPREHEND HIM! Large amount of coins and 7 watches amongst items missing. 2 x 1976 Montreal Olympic 4 coin proof sets and page of approx 36 early fake cast florins and one 1897 half fake crown. Multiple $10 silver coins and silver boxed sets . A large tub of mid to early 90s trading cards including 5 complete mint footy sets in folder Approx 80 assorted medallions and tokens etc from 1887 to 1953 are the most obvious items that will stand out. # 1 watch is a 1930s silver OMEGA with T Millear 1939 on back. #2 is a antique Goliath huge pocket watch with MMM inscribed on back. #3 is French silver Blue enamelled Goliath pocket watch. #4 is a monaco souvenir roulette wheel/watch 1930s. #5 is 1904 silver bedside clock. The thief knocked on front door then after 90 seconds left and moved his car across road out of view of my camera but into view of neighbours. Then returned to yard 5 minutes later (looked like he was walking with a slight limp) and went straight to rear door and broke in. He was driving white BMW with sunroof. Probably a 320 df 30 model. NO PLATES. He disconected camera recording box when he first entered then put in one of my carry cases but after cleaning everything out in another room he forgot to take recording box. Clear Picture of car came from local bowling club just up road. Please share especially in Ballarat, melbourne, Geelong and werribee areas. Thank you

10.01.2022 FAKE $50 NOTES.... OR ARE THEY? Recently it has come to my attention that there is a lot of people (police included) that are of the belief that if a note doesnt have the name under the portrait then it must be fake. Well thats NOT TRUE. In fact, when the polymer (plastic) notes were first released none of them had the name under the portrait. It wasnt until years later, that the Reserve Bank, decided to add names to the faces. They did this so the public would have an easier... time identifying the australians depicted on each note. So anyway, if you come across a note that doesnt have the name under the portrait it does not necessarily mean it is a fake -------------- YEARS THE SIGNATURES APPEAR ON NOTES! $5 notes 2002+ $10 notes 2002+ $20 notes 2002+ $50 notes 2003+ $100 notes 2008+ Note: To tell the year of the note look at the FIRST TWO numbers of the serial number. They will be written immediately to the right of the two
