20.01.2022 Yesterday President Leon visited Damascus College to become a video star!! Well not really......he was there so that a video could be made of him 'presenting' the Collegiate of the Year award and as the recipient won't be announced until Thursday.....it's a secret! Our Rotary Club has proudly sponsored this important award for several years. The Damascus presentation night is on Thursday and will be held as a Covid safe event, hence the video.

14.01.2022 Rotarians for Bees is proudly launching its initiative based on the D9800 project idea: #ColourYourWorld In this time of lockdown and the 'covid blues', we are... encouraging you, your friends and family to get planting pollinator friendly plants and seeds. It doesn't matter whether it's in your yard or a pot on your patio, it can still brighten your day to connect with soil and nature and create the food our bees and other pollinators need. It's a great way to put some colour in your life and at the same time do your bit for the environment and our pollinators. #rotariansforbees #beehabitat #gardening www.rotariansforbees.org/colour-your-world If you like this idea, please share it here with your facebook friends and then later post a few photos of you getting out and planting and use #ColourYourWorld so we can share a little bit of good viral fun during these tough times.
