24.01.2022 Fantastic day of racing at Warnambools clubby today. The RUSH was very well represented, with awesome results. All rode exceptionally well. Big thankyou to Warnambool for a awesome day of racing even if it was a tad windy.

23.01.2022 WHAT A DAY!! 63 Riders 8 different clubs. ... Riders from as far north as Mildura BMX Club, from as far out east as Frankston Sharks BMX Club down to the south at Geelong Thunder BMX, far out west to Portland BMX Club and many clubs in between, descended on Ballarat for a bit of fun ride AND to welcome the Adults back on the track. Riders wish to send their Thanks to Shaws Cycling Centre for covering their rego fee to and for their on going support at the club. Check out these great photos from today. We have a few more so please keep an eye out for them(Please add your photos below too, we love seeing them all!) Shout out to our riders who had an up close experience with our track today. We hope you recover quickly and we see you back in a track soon.

21.01.2022 TICK TOCK TICK TOCK ITS TIME TO SPRING FORWARD THE CLOCK That’s right when you go to bed tonight there are two things you need to do;... 1. Make sure all your clocks have been changed (some clocks like phones and computers, may have a setting that automatically does this for you) 2. Check your smoke detectors and update your home fire plan. We need to make sure our bmx bikes, oh and our families, are kept safe so give all your smoke detectors a test! Its also a great time to chat about your home fire plan, where is the safe meeting spot and how to get out of the house. Spring those clocks FORWARD! An extra hour of daylight means an extra hour on the track!!

I encourage all who use the track to call this out and report anyone vandalising the track etc. The way it is going the track will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC and only used by club members. 10.01.2022 SUSPENSION OF CLUB EVENTS & ACTIVITIES With today’s announcement, it is with a heavy heart that we wish to advise that all club activities will be suspended from this Wednesday night in-line with the State Governments Level 3 lockdown that is due to commence at 11:59pm Wednesday. We have been lucky enough to have been able to have a fun club event as well as coaching and practice sessions for the past few weeks. ... While club activities are suspended, our track remains open to the public. Exercise in these uncertain times is highly recommended for both your body and your mind. Please remember to keep up the social distancing. As of tonight (Sunday 2/8/2020), masks or face coverings are to be worn by all victorians when they leave their home. So if you need to travel to the track or you are a spectating parent, please ensure you wear a mask. We are all in this together, and we want our members to keep active. So send us your Lockdown videos, or have you done a great edit, send us that too. We also love to see how creative our members are, why not design your own track or even draw your bike!

And Shaws Cycling Centre are picking up the bill With the lifting of some restrictions adults and kids will be able to ride and with Shaws Cycling Centre paying your rego fee, why would you not come along! ... *Social distancing will be required and masks where you can’t socially distance. *Spectators limited to households (to keep within capacity limits) *Dont forget that AusCycling offer a free 4 week trial membership - so jump online and get your membership today! Our canteen, rego, First aid and officiating will need a couple of volunteers. So chuck your hand up and get involved!
