24.01.2022 Vawdon Cup Player Expressions of Interest NOW OPEN Expressions of Interest are being sought from players wishing to represent Balmain Touch at the 2021 Vawdon Cup competition. Vawdon Cup is a weekly competition conducted throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area catering for Open & Youth divisions. The competition is scheduled to commence in August and concludes early October. Games are played in Sydney metro on Friday evenings and some Sunday double headers.... To be eligible to play in the Youth division players must have a date of birth from 2004 to 2008. Trials will be held at Timbrell Park on the following dates; Sunday, 2 May at 9am Wednesday, 5 May - Youth at 5.30pm Seniors at 6.45pm Thursday, 13 May - Youth at 5.30pm Seniors at 6.45pm Sunday, 16 May at 9am https://forms.gle/9Bxc1sbjn9JNHy829

24.01.2022 Firstly we apologise for all the confusion but as you are aware we are navigating a new system this season and it hasn't gone in our favour and allowing kids to play in multiple teams plays havoc when both their teams play in semis as well. The Committee has now redone the draw and it will be as per normal Monday and Tuesday night times. Please refer to mysideline (our website) for the latest details on who you are playing and when.... 20.01.2022 Massive shout out to all Balmain touch football referees and players for a huge performance this past week at NTL’s. We had a number of players in the various Men’s and Women’s division play over the course of 4 days. Some outstanding results include @waynecalleja and Terry Jo winning the U40’s Men @sydneyscorpions ... Unlucky to Jo & Sharlen for going down by 1 in the grand final for U40’s women Congratulations to Craig and Bill for being upgraded to Level 5. Scroll through to see some familiar faces. 11.01.2022 Important Notice for Rd 10 games 23/24 November 2020. The Round 6 washout round cancellation has resulted in anomalies in some divisions’ ladders with Byes etc. The Draws committee has decided the best way to remedy this is to play the Rd 6 games next week instead of Rd 10 games. This will enable the rounds to be played consecutively as the system has generated for the first 9 games. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.... 06.01.2022 2021 Gala Day Program/Draw can now be downloaded on our website or the link below. There will be no team/officials meeting before the start of the games. Pleas...e move directly to your field 15 minutes before the start of the first round. There have been changes to the U10’s & U12’s starting times. We have had field changes due to 3 fields being unplayable. After discussions with NSWTA and NSW Government we are allowing small cabanas to be erected. NO LARGE CABANAS or MARQUEES. At least 4 metres between cabanas. Physical distancing must be adhered to. Only family members are allowed under the cabana. Please don’t risk the day by cramming people under your shade. 01.01.2022 Penrith Touch Rep Gala Day update. Entries to the Gala Day are closed. There will be a full draw released Tuesday in the information booklet that will be on o...ur website and this Facebook page. There will be Covid guidelines that each team must follow. The Gala Day will be split into 2 sessions to reduce the amount of people at our fields at one time. We encourage people to leave immediately after their final game. U10’s & U12’s - 8.00am to 12.00pm U14’s to U18’s - 1.00pm to 5.00pm. We will be allocating areas for spectators and parking for all age groups. Penrith Touch appreciate your cooperation in making the gala day a safe and successful competition. See more
