25.01.2022 *ATTENTION - RETURN TO TRAINING* Our ‘Return to training plan’ has finally been accepted by Council and Football Victoria and we are now allowed to use the pitches for formal training with floodlights on. From Tomorrow night(Tuesday) only our SENIORS and RESERVES will begin training. Training will begin at 7.10pm so all players to be there by 7pm LATEST... We will have more information very shortly on what our plans are for our juniors this season! Please familiarise yourself with the guidelines at the bottom of this post before arriving to training. 24.01.2022 Dear members and players, We are happy to announce that we will begin training for all Juniors and Seniors. Please read below for respective start times. Training will be at our home ground on oval 1 at Balmoral Park, Derrimut JUNIORS and MINIROOS- will begin NEXT Wednesday, 25th November at 6pm. Training will be once a week, every Wednesday up until the 16th of December before we take a break and return in early February. As stated in an earlier post, all fees that have been... paid by you will 100% rolled over for the upcoming season. We are open for more players to join, boys and girls, so if you have any friends or other family that would like to join fill the form in the link below and bring them to training! 23.01.2022 *** OPEN LETTER TO FOOTBALL VICTORIA *** Dear Executive committee at Football Victoria, On Monday November 23rd a letter was sent to FV via email, (see letter attached) approved by over 70 clubs, listing their concerns about the refunds offered by FV and demand for payment of player registration fees for a season that did not go ahead in 2020. ... On Friday November 27th a follow up email was sent. At this stage we have not received acknowledgement of receipt of the email nor have we received a time to meet. You now leave us little choice but to request local and state government assistance in procuring this meeting to work through the refund issues noted in the letter. Please note that we are not going away and will not be making any sort of payment until a mutually agreed solution is reached. 21.01.2022 We are deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the passing of Club legend Senad Kablar ‘coach’. Senad helped shape our club into what and where we are today. He was coach of our inaugural team in 95 and has been involved with our club every year since in some way. He dedicated a lot of his time to the club on and off the pitch and managed our Senior and Junior sides. On Behalf of everyone at the club we send our deepest condolences to the immediate family ... 20.01.2022 JUNIOR UPDATE SEASON 2020 Dear Players and Parents, Thank you all for your feedback last week. Your information was vital in us putting a plan together to determine which teams we will be entering for season 2020. We will begin training for ALL junior teams on Thursday, 11th June starting at 6pm (Please arrive 10 minutes earlier so players can be allocated in to their respective age groups) ... Training nights from 11th of June ONWARDS will be Tuesday and Thursday for 1Hour until more restrictions are removed to allow us the freedom the conduct longer training sessions. Confirmed teams that we will be entering for season 2020 are: Under 15s (2005/2006) Under 10s (2009/2010/2011) Under 8s (2012) Under 7s(2013 and below) Under 11s/12s/13s GIRLS TEAM - FREE REGO We are still in the process of finding more 2007/2008 boys players to fill in a team for this season. We are pleased to announce our fee Re-structure for this season. These fees have been reduced to accomodate hardship faced by some parents whilst balancing our very high club asssociated costs. All fees must be paid in full by Tuesday 16th June unless a payment plan has been organized with the club. Under 7s and below - $400 (Down from $500) Under 8-12s - $500 (Down from $600) Under 13s and above - $600 (Down from $750) For families with 2 kids or more it is $50 discount per kid. All parents that have paid the previous full fee structure for their child will receive the difference in fees in credit for next season Please note that we will have a table set up to complete uniform sizing and complete player payments. 14.01.2022 *FINAL TRAINING SESSION/BBQ* As the Calendar year draws to a close, Tomorrow(Wednesday) will be our final training session for 2020. As a small gesture, we will be having a free Barbecue for all juniors and parents once training finishes at around 7pm. Drinks will also be included.... Seniors and Reserves will also have a BBQ once they finish their training at around 9pm With numbers confirmed, We are still actively seeking coaches for the following age groups: Under 7(born 2014 and below) Under 8 Under 9 Under 10 We are pushing very hard to find suitable and ideal coaches to complete these age groups before we resume training in February. Registration day will be held at the End of January and Pre-season training will begin in Early February. (Exact Dates to be announced).
