24.01.2022 Our Educators are the best- as I watched on from indoors today, I stopped for a moment and pondered...feeling humbled & proud about our beautiful good humoured and authentic educatorsDepending on the culture of the adults in children’s worlds, children learn different skills through play. Exploring physical attributes, children gain an understanding of measurement, sizing & patterns. Children explore balance, distance & weight in many areas of play without even realising. PS: we got lots of new resources and there still coming. #educators #exploringplay #proud

23.01.2022 As one dress up day finishes another is approaching SPACE we are having a space day dress up, along with a picnic on the moon this has been an interest throughout our days at kindy, and we are using that opportunity to make a special little book come to life...so next Wednesday the 2nd will be a fun day- If you would like to join our dress up day- be sure to see one of our friendly staff to book and extra day next Wednesday. Ps I have left a couple of fun ideas, to start thinking.

Although our Kimberly Studio (3-5 years) experienced many different science creations this past week. They really enjoyed getting their hands messy and building the volcano in the sandpit. Science week has been a blast

10.01.2022 Miss Soni has been taking our littlies on an adventure through songs for a while now...she is a precious gem who the children really love communicating with on another level of language Learning a second language not only provides the benefits of being more competitive in a global economy, but research shows that learning Spanish also improves reading, vocabulary and comprehension in English. In addition, learning Spanish has been shown to improve math abilities. Learning a second language is amazingly stimulating for the brain and may help a child’s development in many social and academic areas. Thank you so much for sharing your culture with us Miss Soni

09.01.2022 Have you met our new Centre Manager Miss Leonie... Miss Leonie has come on board with our team to create new and exciting memories with us. She has a lot of experience in the childcare sector and truely is passionate and super caring about her new little friends and our centre we call home, Leonie has been a true gem to all of our staff also. We have loved having Leonie here and with new and fresh ideas coming on board, we are excited for our Bambini future endeavours.

01.01.2022 Hi Families, Some of you may already be familiar with the new displays and information being provided to you in our Centre Reception area. As a team we have been working closely at refreshing and updating this space to reflect us all as a team as best we can. One of these displays are our new QIP board.A Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is a document that identifies the service's goals for quality improvement and notes some strategies for achieving those goals. The aim of a QIP... is to help providers self-assess their performance in delivering quality education and care, and to plan future improvements. The QIP also helps regulatory authorities with assessing the quality of the service. Within Early Childhood we have 7 Quality Areas to show our excellence, and again we need YOUR help. We are calling all mothers, fathers, grandparents and caregivers to work alongside us in meeting all these areas and give your feedback.We have provided 7 clipboards for you to show your thoughts and contributions and are excited to see where this strong partnership could take us in meeting the needs and interest of your little ones! OUR HEALTHY HABITS We are also in a unique position to support children's development and growth, and to promote good eating habits, because of this we at Reedy Creek have established another key element to work alongside families surrounding Healthy Eating.We are now excited for Miss Tash, our center chef to take on a more hands on approach with the children and with you the families. She will continue to display the current menu in this space and we are also now providing a clip board for your ideas, recipes and children's favourite meals or snacks. Miss Tash will also be visiting the studios more frequently to have conversations with the children surrounding healthy eating and will now have weekly visits to the Yamba and Kimberly's Studio where they will regularly cook meals together, discuss Healthy Eating and all subjects surround foods.
