21.01.2022 One of Miss Jennys friends brought her some beautiful roses and we arranged them in the writing/drawing area for the children to copy. Still life art challenges the childrens understanding and ability to look at the finer details of everyday objects in their environment. By doing still life drawing we are aiming for our children to be able to slow down and notice the small details of life. Benefits: Slowing down, taking our time. If you wish to tour the centre please phone 32453055 for an appointment. #healthyminds

It helps build a healthier body composition, stronger bones and muscles. It also improves the childs cardiovascular fitness. Physical activities helps in the dev...elopment of better motor skills and in concentration and thinking skills. 19.01.2022 LOOSE PARTS! When children interact with loose parts, they enter a world of what if that promotes the type of thinking that leads to problem solving and theoretical reasoning. Loose parts enhance childrens ability to think imaginatively and see solutions, and they bring a sense of adventure and excitement to childrens play. Children are motivated to learn when they have opportunities to make choices in an environment that is stimulating.... Would your child benefit from an environment that seeks to expand on their critical thinking skills? BOOK A TOUR TODAY, LIMITED VACANCIES Ph: 3245 3055

19.01.2022 The children of Bambini have a deep respect for the First Nations People of our land. As a group project the Senior Kindy classroom created their own interpreta...tions of the First Nations People. The children had the opportunity to add facial features to a mixture of skin toned figure, individualising each one. The children used the Aboriginal symbol cards to copy a symbol onto the t-shirt of their person. We used sticks from our environment to create swings and hung them from a repurposed cot side that the children painted in the colours of the Aboriginal Flag. Together our traditional owners swing in harmony amongst the native flowers in unison to "Always was, Always will be" Please vote for us at - https://kooricurriculum.com//naidoc-virtual-art-competition If you would like your children to be involved book a centre tour today! 17.01.2022 Every Day is a Learning Day! The Senior Kindy room have been showing a keen interest in the environment. We took the opportunity to set up an ocean area using the natural resources we have in our classroom. The children whilst engaging with this activity remembered our many conversations about looking after the planet, recalling that there is lots of rubbish in the oceans. Unfortunately our sea animals ate some plastic, cans and other rubbish and some also got stuck in fishin...g nets. We used this valuable learning moment to have discussions about how we can help the oceans and the animals that dwell within it. #lifelonglearning #foundationallearning #socialconnectivity If you would like to find out more about the educational programs we offer at Bambini please phone us for a tour Ph: 32453055 Limited vacancies available.

16.01.2022 All of the educators at Bambini Capalaba are trained in First Aid and CPR.When they learn first aid, they not only learn how to handle injuries they also learn how to stay cool in stressful situations. Children look to the adults in their life to model their behaviour after; if the educators are calm and collected, the child is much more likely to be as well. Miss Tayla was practicing using an EpiPen as knowing how to use an EpiPen is important due to the unpredictable nature of allergic reactions. #stayinghealthy
