12.01.2022 Let's talk Swim nappies and what makes a good one. Swim nappies are designed to prevent faecal matter from entering the water. So the absolute most important design element in a Swim nappy is that it creates a good seal around the legs and the waist. Yes, you will need to deal with the mess once you remove the Swim nappy, but let's face it no parent wants to be 'that' person at the pool who's kid has left a present in the water A very very small amount of absorbency is a g...ood idea so that you can get from the change room to the pool without making a wet mess everywhere although is not 100% necessary. If a swim nappy has lots of absorbency added to it, it will fill up as soon as your child enters the water and will become very heavy. So don't add a regular nappy or absorbent inserts into the Swim nappy, there's absolutely no need, just use it as it is. Try to ensure that whichever Swim nappy you choose, that the inner lining is gentle on your childs skin and that little boys can't get caught in any netting.
