If eligible, pregnant women have the option to elect their antenatal care to be provided by an Accredited GP Obstetric Shared Care Doctor. This means that the majority of your antenatal appointments will be at the GP clinic. In addition, the Obstetric Shared Care Midwife Coordinators will liaise with you, your GP, the hospital and other agencies as necessary. Dr Bateni is a Medical practitioner with 20 years experience in skin cancer checks, minor skin procedures and sexual health. She is accredited in ‘Practical Dermoscopy’ by The Australasian College of Dermatologists. In her academic journey, Elaheh has completed a ‘Doctorate of General Medicine’ and the ‘Board Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology’ overseas, before she moved to Australia.
