17.01.2022 Seven Beauty & Skin Tips Using Coconut Oil 1 Cleaning make up brushes, it is perfect for removing excess makeup and keeping your brushes smooth and clean. Place brushes in 2 tbsp. of coconut oil until tips are wet. Then wash thoroughly under warm water and allow overnight to dry. 2 Make up remover, coconut oil is the best make up remover I have ever used especially on waterproof mascara. Simply use a cotton wipe and some coconut oil to remove makeup.... 3 Brow growth stimulator, wanting to help your brows grow a little faster?Simply glide a little coconut oil over your brows with a brow brush. For best results do this just before bedtime. 4 Eyelash growth stimulator, my number one tip of all time! Coconut oil is perfect for helping your lashes grow. I remove my make up every night with coconut oil and allow a little to rest on my eyelashes to help stimulate growth. 5 Honey lip scrub, is a perfect way to make your own beautiful lip scrub at home to remove any dead skin. Simply mix into a paste 1 tsp. of natural honey, 1 tsp. aluminium free baking powder and 1 tsp. coconut oil. Apply to lips and leave for a few minutes before gently scrubbing lips to remove dead skin. Wash lips with warm water and pat dry. 6 Night cream, mix 10 drops of lavender essential oil with 250mls or 8.4 oz. of coconut oil in a jar. Gently rub into your skin before bed for a soothing effect to help you relax before you go to sleep. 7 Face exfoliator, mix 1 cup of coconut oil with 3 tbsp. of coarse sea salt and 3 tbsp. fine sea salt. The sea salt will help draw out impurities and exfoliate while the coconut oil will replenish and nourish the skin. While our commercial operations in Australia have ceased we are happy to say that the small Rabi Island Women's co-operative project is powering on. Terikano Takesau's hard work and determination has kept the project going at local Fiji level utilizing local resources and raw materials sourced on the island and based on traditional knowledge. While this is not the large scale commercial operation we were working with it is perfectly suited for Fiji conditions. We are so proud of their efforts that is empowering and making a real difference at village level. 03.01.2022 TO OUR VALUED BANABAN CUSTOMERS It is with great sadness that we announce that our much-loved company - Nature Pacific, the home of Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil Australia has been forced into Administration after operating for nearly 15 years. As you know we were a family company founded on our quest to assist and promote the Banaban community throughout Fiji and the Pacific. We grew our business from an online startup in our garage to a multimillion dollar company over the yea...rs. In June 2017 we took on partners that promised they would be a Value Add and a major investment for our company. Unfortunately, we were soon to learn that our investment had changed to full financial and management control with the introduction of various Directors and Managers who had totally conflicting ideals. When it was decided to turn Banaban into a Charitable Foundation and base our company on one overpriced pity product it was against everything we believed in and what we saw as total exploitation. We refused to let the Banaban people be used to fundraise for major investment companies. On a brighter note, we would like to reflex on the companys achievements and the thousands of people throughout Fiji and other Pacific Islands we have been able to assist. In Fiji alone, we were able to inject more than 17.5 million dollars to Fiji farmers and created a whole virgin coconut oil industry. We also proudly look back at all our children who have grown up working in our company and now have become very successful adults. What we can assure all our customers is that we will continue the struggle to seek justice for the Banaban people and to right the wrongs of the past. While this chapter of our lives is closing we believe our philanthropic work with our Banaban Community is just beginning. To all of you, our loyal customers many of whom have been with us on this amazing journey over the past 14 years, we thank you for always being there. For supporting us through thick and thin. You are the reason that Banaban coconut products became so successful. 02.01.2022 ONE YEAR LATER BANABAN UPDATE: Well we are just over a year down the track since we, as the founders and creators of the Banaban brand, became caught in between our overseas investors and the conflict with their Australian Financial Managers. We would end up in a no-win situation and the destruction of the Banaban brand after 14 years of love, sweat and tears. We decided to hold on to our values, and all our brand stood for and walked away to allow the conflicting parties ...to slog it out and not involve us or the Banaban name in corporate behaviour that we never wanted to be part of. Ken and I would just like to thank all our old customers for their ongoing support still coming in over the past twelve months, the well-wishes and the sadness shared. We just wanted to let all our supporters know that while the Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil brand is now not operating in Australia our island's small women's run co-operative is thriving due to the efforts of some amazing Banaban women and their team of hard workers. Ken and I are now doing what we did at the very beginning and still advocating the Banaban cause and preserving history. So many have supported us over the years because you genuinely believed in our fight to seek justice for our community. We just wanted you to know that sometimes things happen for a reason that we are totally unaware of, just like the amazing success of the Banaban brand not only here in Australia but globally. As we sat in our apartments tiny single garage at the very beginning packing Fiji grown VCO with our two youngest children, initially just for online customers on Ebay and then receiving amazing orders from remote Aboriginal Communities throughout the top end of Australia, we could never have imagined the journey we would be taken on. Your words of support from fellow business colleagues (who have become life long friends), customers, wholesalers and suppliers, you all only endorsed the wonderful network of people we had supporting us.
