20.01.2022 In light of current events and the developing public policy limiting gatherings of people to slow the progression of COVID-19 the Rotary Club of Townsville Central is reluctantly cancelling the bike ride scheduled for May 30th and 31st. We will be arranging full refunds of registration fees for those 'Doggers' that have already registered. The club and the Banish the Black Dog team will be monitoring the situation as it unfolds and will consider running a shortened 'Wellbeing... Ride' later in the year if circumstances permit. We thank you all for your ongoing support and wish you all the best in staying healthy over the coming weeks.

09.01.2022 Friday lunchtime, 24 July, I enjoyed catching up with the board and club members of The Rotary Club of Townsville Central, at their regular weekly meeting. What... an amazing club of engaged and committed members, focusing on Mental Health programs in their community, as well as through Australian Rotary Health, - as well as many other projects - achievable due to their key fundraiser, the Banish the Black Dog Bike Ride! So great to see the opportunities this club is opening up in its community! Thank you President Enzo Craperi and members for your hospitality! A bonus was catching up with club member and Rotary D9550 Conference 2021 Committee member, Eleni Ragogo, in person for the first time! See more
