23.01.2022 **Interest rates under review** Following the RBA’s decision to cut the Official Cash Rate, we are reviewing both our deposit and lending interest rates. As a Customer Owned Bank, we will continue to consider the needs of all our customers so that we can make a balanced decision. We thank our customers for their patience and will provide an update once a decision has been made.
23.01.2022 We are proud to sponsor 2 tickets to this year’s LASA Next Gen Forum. Allowing young age services workers to make new connections and discover exciting opportunities. Follow the link to enter the competition and win. https://www.facebook.com/bankfirstau/posts/1249218218772914 Probably the best healthcare event I have been to. Inspiring to meet fellow peers and share our struggles as well as triumphs, and have developed a friendship from the event. Thank you [Next Gen] for providing us an opportunity to connect with one another. I'm looking forward to the next event that you'll be hosting! - Registered Nurse (NSW)

21.01.2022 This year's NAIDOC theme is ‘Always was, always will be’ an important celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. This week, we’re reflecting on some recent education initiatives we’ve proudly supported through the Bank First Community Fund, such as Montmorency South Primary School's Rubbish Circle initiative. Montmorency South Primary school is passionate about recognising and respecting the traditional owners of this land and ...living sustainably. To clearly project this message, reminding everyone in our school community of our shared responsibility to care for Wurundjeri land, we decided to create a huge mural made out of plastic rubbish. We sought feedback on our design from Wurundjeri Author, Aunty Joy Murphy, and Indigenous Illustrator Lisa Kennedy. Whilst simultaneously diverting lots of plastic rubbish away from landfill we were able to create an artwork which is not only durable and aesthetically pleasing but is also thought & discussion provoking. #NAIDOC2020 #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe
20.01.2022 *Interest Rate Announcement* Following a review of our interest rates and in light of the RBA’s recent decision to reduce rates, we will decrease selected fixed home loan rates, savings accounts and term deposit product rates effective from 1 December 2020. A summary of the changes is available on https://www.bankfirst.com.au//c/news/interest-rate-changes As a customer owned bank, we make these changes carefully to deliver the best outcome for our customers and ensure interest rates remain favourable in the wider market.

02.01.2022 We’d like to congratulate Aynsley Johnson and Jennifer Rodgers for winning two tickets to the LASA Next Gen forum, with Aynsley’s nomination demonstrating Jennifer’s work and leadership in age services in our recent competition. Through sponsoring these 2 tickets to the LASA Next Gen Forum, we’re thrilled to support young leaders making an impact in age services. Due to a number of factors affecting the age services sector, the LASA Next Gen forum has been postponed to May 20...21. Jennifer Rodgers deserves to win a ticket to the LASA Next Gen Forum as she works tirelessly each day to support and make sure aged care providers are delivering the best possible care and services for our older Australians. Jen supports the team with humility, inclusion and quiet determination which are such amazing traits for a young (or any) leader to have and ones we should all strive to have. - Aynsley Johnson Full announcement available here: https://www.bankfirst.com.au//supporting-young-leaders-in-
