09.01.2022 Those who likes to help your mother land On behalf of Let's Work for Bangladesh URGENT CALL FOR HELP!!... You’re aware of the recent pandemic COVID19 which is sweeping through the world at the moment. Being a densely populated and third world country, Bangladesh is in grave danger at the moment especially the health professionals - doctors and nurses who are at the fore front but don’t have proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) like hospital gown, masks, gloves or goggles to keep themselves safe while treating the patients. Pay it forward (spread kindness) is now providing a package of PPE's (gown, gloves, mask, shoe cover & googles) costing TK 500. They have received approval recently from Department of Health. 400,000 pieces to be distributed. They are working with Honest, BUET Alumni Association, Rotary Club Dhaka North-west and Manush Manusher Jonno Foundation on this project. Please check the link with this post. The total budget for this project is around BDT 200M, and they have been able to secure BDT 15M till now, still a long way to go but with everyone’s help this is very much achievable. We at LWFB have decided to help our health professionals with PPE and support this initiative of Pay it Forward. For this project we’ve initiated a fund raising and any amount big or small is welcome.
